Democrat Roy Herron Says DCCC Pulled Funds When He Refused to Support Pelosi

"I will not vote for Nancy Pelosi for House speaker," Herron said in a statement Tuesday, The Hill reports. "If the DCCC pulling ads is the price of independence and following my conscience, so be it."

Acually, on Fox today, he ducked the question when asked if he would vote for Pelosi.

But there are some very interesting ironies here:

1) The Dems would appear to be "cutting off their noses to spite their faces." However, Herron is likely to gain 1000% more than he loses in this deal. Is this the Dems' plan, to have candidates pretend to hate Pelosi, and then have the party retaliate to reinforce his "anti-Pelosi" stance?

2) Note that Pelosi herself is happy to see Dem congresscrooks attacking her (so they can vote for her if they are elected. See 1).
