Love is not love if based on lies.
Sometimes honey is needed, sometimes a cold bucket of water on the head is needed.
If “love” makes people feel comfortable in their dirt, that is not love, it is cruelty with the name tag “love”. But it is not love, real love means caring about the well being, both physical and spiritual, of the other person.

A Christian man went to a gay pride event in Oregon. Opened up a confession booth and everyone that came in. he apologized for all christians who ever used cruel words and actions against gay people. he reached out to these people and understood their struggles. many of them had been abused physically and emotionally. raised in broken homes.
I wish I could think up the name of the film. but it really changed my heart.

the title is sarcastic. it is actully a christian movie that points out flaws in the tactics used by both sides in the culture wars.
it aired on TBN earlier this year. he travels the country doing interviews. It is painfull to watch in some ways. but powerfull. some of these people he interviews have dealt with some serious hurt in their lives and their view of christianity is a tragedy because they think we are judgemental and we all hate them. It sure wouldnt change their opinion if we stereotype all gay people as pedophiles.
