there is this movie that aired on TBN. I wish I could find the name of it.

A Christian man went to a gay pride event in Oregon. Opened up a confession booth and everyone that came in. he apologized for all christians who ever used cruel words and actions against gay people. he reached out to these people and understood their struggles. many of them had been abused physically and emotionally. raised in broken homes.

I wish I could think up the name of the film. but it really changed my heart.

There's also a book offering different avenues Christians could take in talking with homosexuals. The book is called Loving Homosexuals as Jesus Would by Thompson. While I don't agree with everything he writes, he makes some great points and may have insights I don't have.

A. This man had no right to apologize for others’ behavior. That is just plain silly.

B. Did he also tell these homosexuals that they are not born that way and can change? That is key.
