What will best serve the real well being of homosexuals and those who are not, is the truth. The truth is always better than a lie.

Here are truths that will help everyone:

1. No one is born homosexual.

2. There are many former homosexuals, and many organizations to help them leave the “gay” life.

3. The homosexual habits and practices are unnatural, sinful, unhealthy and lead to a shortened lifespan and horrible, many incurable diseases.

4. The homosexual lifestyle involves unimaginable promiscuity and violence.

5. Many more homosexuals than the general population are child molesters and have been known throughout history as pedophiles. This is fact and should not be swept under the rug. Sweeping it under the rug guarantees that many more children will be molested, thus irreparably harming the innocent. A huge majority of homosexuals were themselves molested and that is one of the reasons they now identify as homosexual.

People have to kick out blind sentiment based on ignorance and have real love for others. If you really love someone, that means you care about their well being, not being attached to having a false, shallow relationship based on lies. You can show people that you care about them and their health and future even if you do not approve of their choices.

Example: Over indulgent parents who never want to discipline their children raise horrible brats who grow up to be horrible adults. Real love means telling the truth and not approval of harmful or wrong behaviors.

I haven’t really followed this thread, but want to chime in with an example -

I know an ex-homosexual who was the minister of music at the last church we went to. He practiced this lifestyle from age 12 until his mid 20s, and was convinced this was who he was, he was born this way, etc.

I don’t know remember how he got out of it, but he did. He was very open about this - telling people that he realized it wasn’t natural, it was an addiction just like any other vice that people practice. He also talked about father issues.

He stayed a bachelor for many years to make sure he was really “over” this addiction. After about 10 years of being abstinent, he met a wonderful lady, fell in love, got married and the have 3 wonderful children. He is happier than I’ve ever seen him.
