Can you say "October Surprise"?
A mushrooming political battle over ObamaCare involving the White House, two incumbent Pennsylvania congressmen, three Catholic hospitals and a nun has just exploded in, of all places, Scranton, Pennsylvania. Charges from the Scranton medical community of intimidation by the Obama White House and its allies are filling the air. All of this just as Vice President Joe Biden arrives in Scranton today to raise money for one of the participants.
There are two issues at the core of the controversy. 1. ObamaCare and the sale of three Scranton-area Catholic hospitals. 2. The re-election prospects of the two House members, Democrats Paul Kanjorski and Chris Carney, both of whom cast key votes to pass ObamaCare.

This should be sent to every newspaper in the area.
I sent a copy to some friends in the Scranton area, ( I lived there for a few years in the 1990’s) to see if I can get it to go viral in the health care community.
The older voters are mostly Democrat in the Scranton Area and Catholic. It will be interesting to get the grapevine all fired up.

Also, I've got a question. With hospitals folding right and left and going broke because of all the free treatment for Illegals, and with\doctors "retiring" before Obamacare forces them to work like dog for minmimum wage, where is one supposed to go for health care and who will be dispensing it?
Government 'clinics' where you'll wait for 8 hours to be seen by a person who 'works under a doctor' - waaaaaaay under - and you'll be treated badly - like the clinic worker is doing you a favor - and you better be appreciative... if you don't like how you're treated, you'll have NO OTHER place to go - so they don't care how you do, feel, live, or die...
Home of the late great Governor Robert P. Casey, last of the truly pro-life Democrats.
bump for the “real” Bob Casey. A democrat I proudly voted for - twice.
I live around them, keep dreaming.
I voted for him four times; once in each primary and once in each general.
When the DNC muzzled him and prevented him from delivering a pro-life message at the 1996 convention I came to the same conclusion as Ronald Reagan: "The party left me".
That is when I became GOP.
This is another incident that should have legs but just isn’t leaving the starting gate, even here on FR. Why???
