There were others who would also vote for any POS, however bad (like Nancyboy Kirk) so long as such a candidate would be a building block toward a “Republican” Senate Majority (while helping to make the GOP Caucus Obozo Lite) and a safe vote to preserve and protect Muffy’s trust fund.
