Republican challenger Sharron Angle has now moved to a four-point lead over Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in Nevada’s bare-knuckles U.S. Senate race.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Nevada Voters shows Angle hitting the 50% mark for the first time since mid-August, while Reid earns 46% of the vote. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate in the race, and two percent (2%) more are undecided.

Not saying it’s a plot to help anyone, but I caution against celebrating over a poll result. Polls are fickle and very open to interpretation. That’s why the ONLY poll that matters is on election day.

Give me control of the sample and the question wording and I can give you whatever result you want.

Often true but not always. What was Clinton’s percentage in ‘96, something like 49%? It depends on the race, and how much of the vote the minor party candidates siphon off. In this particular race, I’d feel pretty good if Angle were around 51% in actual vote. That’s probably too much for the ‘Rats to fraud their way into a “win” for Reid.

I call BS!

How could 46% of the voters in any state vote for dingy Harry? What could explain it?

Oh, yeah. I forgot. The Democrats keep using the federal government to take our money and buy votes from their supporters.

Come to think of it, it’s astonishing that Harry hasn’t bought more than 46% with our money. It’s damn sure not for lack of trying.

“I would send her money, but everytime I donate my candidate loses.”

Rossi needs donations (Murray got $1.3M - IIRC from out of state). But, please Perdogg, don’t send him any.

Vote for Mark Kirk — MSM will call this a direct repudiation of the president to lose “his” Senate seat; and Mark Kirk, for all his attributes/shortcomings, will NOT vote for Reid, Schumer or Durbin to be majority leader. That alone is important.

We need to get rid of Boxer and another 56 Senators with a D next to their names.

As far as I am concerned the only good Democrat is a Democrat that doesn’t get elected.

I love the trendline there, finally. It’s good to see Rossi trending back and Angle opening up a modest lead in NV.

“the 2% undecided will definitely not go for Reid”.
I would agree with you, SB, except that these might end of being non voters.
I mean, who can be so stupid at this point to be “undecided”?
Have to be Dims or apathetic Drones, at the very least.

Cereal liar: Cocoa PUFFS, SNAP, Crackle, Pop, Frosted FLAKES, Honey NUT Cheerios. All good adjectives for Dirty. Anyone else want to add to the list?

Reid needs to go down hard.

I believe the Chair of the House Banking Committee has said the same thing. No pictures!

I can assure you that Angle’s numbers are better than this pole. I know a number of union workers here that don’t dare tell a pollster anything other than they are voting for Reid. The pressure from their bosses is intense. Many are going to break ranks as they are very aware of the devastation of Nevada under Obama and Reid.

It’s really amazing that Angle is still standing and not 10 points down after the massive onslaught of negative advertising paid for by Reid and a host of front groups. You honestly can’t listen to radio or TV more than 15 minutes without being told that Angle wants to eliminate Medicare, Social Security, Federal funding for education, the VA, Unemployment insurance, et al.

I will be hitting the media with my reports on Reid taking money from mob pimp Joe Conforte as we get closer to the election. My evidence keeps getting stronger that Reid was/is on the take (I now know it for a fact, just hard to get sources to go public, one has been threatened by Conforte himself). The big problem is that the print media have refused to pick up the story. I’m now in the process of shaming them into responding.

Honestly, I wasn’t worried when some of the polls tightened up two weeks ago. I figured it was just the Dems’ money blast on ads, and it looks like that’s what is happening. The impact of those has now been defused.

This is the fourth poll I’ve seen in the last week showing Angle with a small but growing lead. I have to conclude that it’s real and not just a statistical anomaly. It would appear that the undecideds are starting to break for Angle.

[What can he possibly show to make someone change their minds that they have not already seen a thousand times? ]

Wait till you see the latest Rita Rudner ad for Harry, it is so over the top and reprehensible that it too will backfire. The Reid campaign is bombing the rubble with their attempt to portray Angle as crazy, those ads just have no more traction. What are they going to do now, double down on their attacks and make themselves look crazy??
