FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The National Rifle Association has endorsed North Carolina Democratic Rep. Larry Kissell in his first re-election bid.
Here is the link - sorry:

Are they the incumbents? Are they blue dog Democrats? Do they have higher pro-Amendment grades than their opponents. That is the only possible reason.
BS. They have been endorsing Dems who had lower scores. They endorsed a Cong who’s father has an F rating. the NRA is trying to save the Dems.
I got a call from the NRA this afternoon asking me to join up for 5 years for $125. I told them as long as they endorse Democrats who will vote for Nancy Pelosi, I won’t support the NRA.
I’m sure it was just some call center hired by the NRA to make the calls, and my message will never get to the NRA, but who knows.
the SC alone could take all of our rights away, not just gun ownership...
I hope they lose big time...
If they keep this up, there won’t be a need for an NRA association! No guns, no need! LOL
The NRA must love judges like Kagan and Sotomayor, they must love the anti-gun policies attempted in the blue states.
They keep calling me and I never answer.
But why?
The NRA has gone bad. period.
Money?
Any gun owner that casts a vote based on endorsements from the NRA is an idiot...do your OWN research.
Obama and the Dems must have pictures or dirt on NRA members.
“The NRA jumped the shark.”
The NRA is dead to me now. They sleep with the fishes like Luca Brazzi.
Hesty must be rolling over in his grave.
There are a lot of dims.
If you can tempt some of them to take a more conservative stand, you can get control away from the crazies.
So if they are trying to get on the fence dims to move to the right and if they are successful, it might be a smart move.
It is not my way, but it might be successful.
Ping
They did it again. Even though it hurt, you made the right move to bail out of the NRA.
“...my message will never get to the NRA, but who knows.”
They’ll ‘get it’ when they start seeing us old-timers send our money to the GOA, 2AF & JPFO. 40 years for me and I left the NRA a month ago.
Anyone want to buy my NRA belt buckle collection or my dozens of hat, pins, bags, etc? I get sick to my stomach when I see them displayed in my office. They’re coming down soon.
Screw the NRA, they screwed us!
Yep, I supported them for years and was very proud to do so for years and years. But, 24 hours later, I feel very good about sending them away.
After ‘08 I said I wasn’t sending anymore money to the GOP....screw ‘em, I’d just send it to the NRA. Now, 2010, I’m saying screw the NRA and I’ll guess I send any money in the future directly to specific candidates.
My God, what crazy mixed-up landscape it has become.
You are right.
