In case you missed it, here's the Christine O'Donnell Ad: "I'm You". It is EXCELLENT.

WTF is wrong with Republicans who badmouth their own candidate after the primary?
All that does is give ammunition to the democrats.
So stop it. Get behind and support your candidate.
I think this one is lost.

We’ll see. Reagan was supposed to be trounced by Carter in ‘80 and Carter conceded before the polls had even closed out West. We shall see what we shall see.
90% of swing voters vote on emotion.
Biden kept getting elected becaus he was “such a nice boy,” even though he was a complete idiot.
I won’t pick on this ad for that reason.
This ad was made to appeal to women voters. It’s very touchy feely, I think a lot of men might be put off by it.
But men tend to vote Republican anyway, it’s the women that tend to vote for liberals. Her campaign strategy here is to target women who don’t know much about her except what they’ve heard from the media, so have a negative impression of her.
Re: your Post #18: LOL; that’s good.
Actually Rush didn’t exactly “pan” the ad.
He had problems with it, as did many people. Rush, in fact, had a caller take him to task for his negative comments at which time he paused and said he’d reconsider.
Lookit, it’s an okay ad. All of you carrying on like banshees, take a deep breath, get a grip.
Remember, Delaware is a state inhabited mostly by folks from another state, folks who only know political names like CASTLE and BIDEN. Also there’s a lot of Independents in this state, Independents who did NOT get a chance to vote in this past primary.
There was a need to get Christine out there, to present her as a quiet, thoughtful candidate of the people. Just because WE’RE political junkees long past the WITCH thing doesn’t mean those Independents and out-of-staters suddenly forced to vote for neither a Biden or a Castle, ARE.
This is the beginning. Begin by presenting her in this quiet, sane, sensible fashion. Show that she’s not a WITCH although most folks know that. Point being after her assertion she’s quiet, attractive but not overly beautiful.
It’s what was needed now and dear Lord you hyenas who jump around like monkeys picking fleas over any little thing...
And hey Doc, NO SHE NOT THE BEST THIS COUNTRY COULD DO.
She has, however, ran for Senator in Delaware two times prior, once as a write-in and once against Joe Biden. She ran when she had little chance so why the hell shouldn’t she get the job now that the gettings good?
Never mind. The Republican voters in Delaware took care of the matter....don’t worry your pointy head.
Next week and thereon...she’ll be going after Coons. Cause that guy’s a walking target.
Give it time, don’t knock your own cause.
Yes, actually quite perfect as an opening shot.
I’m not kidding. People always refer to Rush as an appeal to authority. So, turnabout’s fairplay.
Is that the old Soviet Parliament behind him with the red flag?
I liked the ad. So did my wife.
"She's no senator"?
Good. Considering our current crop of "senators", I think that the fact she is NOT one of their type is perhaps her greatest attribute.
It's kind of a creepy ad. Sorry, but we think Christine could have done better...
>>Actually, this is a very compelling ad.<<
I agree.
>>Granted, if all’s she does is run this for the next month, she’s toast.<<
K-Lo over on NRO interviewed the person responsible for the campaign advertising, he said they got this one out because this was what was needed NOW! The issue-oriented ads will soon be following, within a few days.
Creepy??? Creepy? Nutmeg, you and your hubby need to get out into the real world more often. LOL!!!
I support her.
Crappy ad.
