STELLARTON, N.S. - Nova Scotia's justice minister says he was aware of allegations that RCMP officers under his command had engaged in sex parties that included drug use.
The letter, which Heighton denies writing, alleges a number of acts by RCMP officers and their spouses, including sex parties where cocaine was used and a female officer's lesbian affair with the wife of another officer.
Landry says after he saw the letter in the fall of 2007, he inquired with his superiors about how the matter was being dealt with and was told it was being addressed.
He said he understood the investigation "was not my business."

My favorite depictions of Mounties are in Russ Meyer movies...lol
Now I know why they are called “Mounties”
Were Dudley Do-Right and Nell in on this action?
ignore ‘em? I’m sure he has the vids...;-)
“Ken, 24, is a Mounted Policeman with a difference. And what a difference!”
Its Nova Scotia. You have to have something to do during those long winters. ;~))
Dudley Do Wrong
They appear locked in some sort of combat King.
I thought they slept all night and worked all day.
There are strange things done in the midnight sun...
They always get their man..................
Only Inuits and Englishman go out in the midnight sun..................
Thanks for the ping. Ever since Trudeau, the Mounties have not been the same. By the way, do you know what they get paid? (hint - too much) The same thing is going on in Canada with government salaries as in the U.S. Not only that, the men in uniform get paid paternity leaves - long ones.
P.S. Everybody who thinks Nova Scotia has long, cold winters and midnight sun - not true. Winters are longer, pretty much eat up Spring, but they are much milder than people think. Also, normal day and night hours here as well, similar to Maine. Autumn here is heaven. Crisp air, no bugs, incredible Fall colors. Wood smoke aroma, deer and moose hunting season, wild berries and apples are ripe, edible mushrooms all over the place for the taking, Canada geese honking.... and where I am, darn few mounties!
