Sorry Megyn was on a anti-Whitman-McMahon-Angle rant today.

I think this may have done a small amount of damage to Meg with the Latino community. However, I think all this dies out unless some new evidence appears.

Almost everyone has made up their minds on this one way or the other and everyone will get tired of it in a couple of days.

Example: Don’t hear too many folks talking about Christine being a witch anymore.

Gloria is a glutton for punishment. Mark Levin, Hugh Hewitt and Greta Van Sustern all roughed her up pretty good in their interviews. Guess it will be 4 for 4.

So, in addition to a host of other law violations, this gal is an in your face tax evader to boot. And it’s all Meg Whitman’s fault.

Swell.

“I don’t know how much of the Dem’s desperation mudslinging is actually sticking, . . . And they are mudslinging, and the MSM is enabling them, and it isn’t making a darn bit of difference. We are tired of the Ohio dems whining that they can only watch while major employers take their business out of the state - and then they support every job-busting incentive Obama-Pelosi-Reid can come up with.”

Before this election, a majority of people seemed to be pretty passive about the trends in governance. They accepted the government as constituted and voted based on which candidate would be a better navigator of the ship of state. In that regard, character was about the only thing that distinguished the candidates and a smear could be devastating.

Now, however, people are less interested in getting a competent “navigator” as they are in finding someone, flaws and all, who is willing to dismantle the ship before it does more damage. I think most folks realize no one is squeaky clean and also realize the slant of the news to favor Democrats, especially where the same “crime” is a misdemeanor if a Dem and a capital offense if a Repub.

What works when people are more or less satisfied with their lives won’t in times of hardship and worry.

Unfortunately not. She was on Geraldo last night. He, of course, tossed her softballs and enabled her to bash Whitman without interference. He’s lower than snake spit.

“So how exactly is she helping her client?”

She’s not helping her client at all, especially considering her client’s baggage. There is one obvious and simple question that I haven’t heard asked: why go public with this at all?

IMO, if this complaint has the merit Allred represents it does, it would be in her client’s interest to just settle. We know Whitman has the money to settle it. We also know Whitman doesn’t need this type of annoyance at this time. It seems as though Whitman would be more than happy to settle this and be done with it.

Obviously, Allred wants the issue rather than the resolution.

Now that it’s public, Whitman will not settle because people would see it as an admission of guilt. Unless this illegal immigrant is getting some benefits under the table from Allred, the Democratic Party, or Brown, she is so screwed.

“From what I understand, her “client” submitted a fraudulent social security card, a signed affidavit that she was in the country legally and a W-4 indicating that she did not want taxes withheld from her salary”

I thought I read that also, the fake I9, fake SS fake Calif drivers license and the W4 listing enough dependents to have NO withholding
PLUS I thought I read Whitman paid all her FICA( social security and medicare)
do you have that link?

one line allred keeps forgetting to mention, who has the Illegal worked for since June 09? Did she use the same fake docs?

“Now that it’s public, Whitman will not settle”

You’re right. But then settlement and looking out for her client’s best interests never was the motivation behind Gloria’s actions. I do think Allred is a little surprised at how hard she’s being hammered. She is truly being exposed for the weasel that she is.

Every interview and report I’ve seen everywhere is lame.

1. The Social Security letter did NOT say there was an immigration problem. It was NOT about an immigration problem. It did have a subject line that said, “immigration problem, fix it.” It was about a social security number. It makes as much sense to conclude someone’s cheated on their taxes if the IRS sends a letter asking for info on an address change. That’s what Allred, Brown, and the media have concluded. And the so-called conservative media is too stupid to pound home the non-sequitur.

2. The maid was not an undocumented alien. She was committing fraud. She was fraudulently document. Papers were forged. It makes as much sense to blame Whitman for hiring an illegal as it does to blame the guy who received a fraudulent (counterfeit) 20 dollar bill. The crime was the forging of false papers.

3. Whitman paid 23.50 an hour to her maid and sent her social security payments in as required. Someone wanting to get over on the system by hiring an illegal doesn’t pay them 23.50, they pay them 5.50 and that under the table. That way, they get low-cost help, and they avoid all kinds of taxes.

Whitman was right to jump on the cruelty of manipulator Brown in the debate.

I sure hope she follows up with a campaign ad showing how stupid were the charges and how obvious was their attempt to manipulate this Diaz woman.
