Did anyone see the new NRSC ad trying to ride on coattails of the Tea Party to solicit donations?

This is the epitome of hypocracy. The NRSC is one of the primary reasons why Tea Parties exist outside of the Republican Party. The NRSC has funneled millions of dollars from conservative contributors into the campaigns of characters like Lincoln, Chaffee, Arlen Specter, Lindsay Graham and our lovely senators from Maine.

Gotta give 'em credit for chutzpah though!

The barn doors need to be opened to roust out the strays.

Make the RINOs go Crist and Murkyowsky to pull votes from the Marxist 'rats.

I didn't say YOU had to feed it. Maybe Palin can raise RINO money to use it to eventually show them the door if they don't want to ride along in the back.

Given the election laws across the land are set up to favor just two parties, it'd be best to control one of them. It won't happen overnight.

National money. We conservatives are doing a miserable job of self-funding all the conservative candidates we want to support.

Separate entities but allies against the incumbent enemy, using each other to attain somewhat different goals. What’s so odd about that?

Are they allies against the incumbent enemy? I don't think so. NRSC is all about supporting RINO incumbency. The hypocracy here is that they are basically stealing the Tea Party brand to solicit contributions to the most anti-Tea Party element of the GOP.

The NRSC needs your help to elect Republicans from Joe Miller in Alaska to Marco Rubio in Florida as well as everyone in between.

How can anyone be this intentionally stupid? They pick out two of the four worst examples they could have considering their support for Mikulski in Alaska and Crist in Florida. The only worse examples of their hypocrisy would be to include Pat Toomey after being long time supporters of Snarlin' Arlen Specter or Christine O'Donnell after the shabby way they treated her immediately after her primary win in Delaware.

How about at least having the decency not to use names of candidates you fought against in the primaries.

I went to a ‘tea party’ organizing meeting a couple weeks ago, and THAT is EXACTLY what they did. The ‘leaders’ would allow NO talk about support of anyone but the Rino’s running for office in my state. The movement has been hijacked by every RINO out there, including Armey and McCain.

Nothing makes the dems happier than watching us trash our side.

The NRSC has never been our side. The NRSC is simply on the NRSC's side. It doesn't mean that they are our enemy, and there are times when it makes sense to ally with them, but it never makes sense to fund them when we could direct our funding far more effectively, either through Jim DeMint's Conservative Senate fund or through the Club for Growth or simply by selecting individual campaigns ourselves.

Also, shining a light on their efforts to co-opt funding from Conservatives is not trashing them. It is simply educating would be contributors so that they can donate more wisely.

Gee, I don't know. I haven't seen a whole lot of "Vote for Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins (or similar GOP candidates)" signs at the Tea Parties. Have you?

While we weren’t looking the strays were multiplying like Democrats in there. We’ll be shooing them out for years—and shoveling up after them the entire time.

I would give them one penny but I won’t trash them either.

I donate to candidates of MY choice.

Fact is, the constituency for the Tea Partiers is less than it is for establishment (corporate/ Big military)Republicans and "moderate" Northeast Republicans combined. A sorry fact.

In America, coalitions are made before the elections, not afterwards like in Europe. There is always going to be internal tensions and jockeying.

No bucks for RNC until they get rid of all RINOs and kick Steele out so hard he lands in France.

+1

Say, where is Steele anyway? He hasn't said squat for about 6 months. Was he speaking at OneNation this weekend?

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

For the record, Sarah Palin, the darling of so many here, is actively shilling for the RNC now.

Governor Palin is a leader in the GOP, as was Ronald Reagan.

You are the Official Party Chairman of another political party aren't you?

What does that have to do with raising money for liberals?

You do realize they’re going to spend a large percentage of that money against conservatives just like they did throughout this election cycle, right?

You do understand that this site is for independent conservative activism, right?

You do understand that Republicans don’t have some sort of exclusive here, right?

Wow, way to ignore my post.

You are the Official Party Chairman of another political party aren’t you?

The people here should know that.
