“Might give them a chance to claim all negative stories are retaliation for suing Fox News. Wonder if Fox has to disclose that it is being sued by the government everytime it reports on the DOJ or the administration?”

There is an old adage in politics, “don’t pick a fight with a man that buys ink by the barrel.” I believe this adage to be true and prescient. Imagine what Fox can do with this situation? Where is the upside for the WH? This is a very silly and shortsighted move. But then again, we have a silly and shortsighted president. Also, a very vain and insecure president.

Short-sighted, yes. I believe right now he’s focused on getting through the November election and how this might taint any Fox reporter. After that it will be time for a nice, relaxing vacation, then he can magnanimously call his DOJ dogs off Fox. But he is prone to strongarm tactics (just ask BP and WalMart) and is accustomed to getting his way, at least temporarily. The happiest time of my recent life will be watching his agenda get repealed, piece by piece, God willing.

Precisely ... this thin skinned little pr**k may well regret this decision. FOX could easily delve into areas in this President's background and come up with some very embarrassing nuggets of information ... enough to destroy this interlopers presidency.
