Obama: Embattled, Embittered, and Lashing Out (The Crack-Up Continues)
Commentary ^ | 9/30/2010 | Peter Wehner

Posted on 09/30/2010 10:54:50 AM PDT by mojito

Barack Obama’s recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine paints a portrait of a president under siege and lashing out.

For example, the Tea Party is, according to Obama, the tool of “very powerful, special-interest lobbies” — except for those in the Tea Party whose motivations are “a little darker, that have to do with anti-immigrant sentiment or are troubled by what I represent as the president.”

Fox News, the president informs us, “is ultimately destructive for the long-term growth of a country that has a vibrant middle class and is competitive in the world.”

[....]

Set aside the discordance of these words coming from a man who said, on the night of his election, “I will listen to you, especially when we disagree.” There is a hazardous dynamic developing.

To understand why, let’s start with this: President Obama is a man of unusual vanity and self-regard. He considers himself to be a world-historical figure who deserves treatment bordering on reverence. That is why over the years he has surrounded himself with individuals who have a romanticized view of Obama....

When a powerful man like this is successful, it can make him impossible to live with. When a powerful man like this is failing, he can become dangerous.

A hostile, psychotic black President for life?

Now where have I read about such a person before?

Hmmm....

“...are troubled by what I represent as the president...”

Playing the tattered old race card again, BO refuses to admit that the citizens of this great nation are vehemently against his Marxism. What did this over-privileged affirmative action baby expect patriots to do? Obviously, he did not know real Americans, only the weird Leftist family from which he sprang and the homogeneous crowd of Marxists on university campuses.

I remember him in speeches after the health care bill was passed mocking people in his shrill shuck-n-jive voice about how critics said it would be Armageddon, he didn’t realize that the asteroid wouldn’t impact until November.

ROTFL !.........Both the Asteriod and the Tsunami are heading directly at Obama, impact date Nov. 2, 2010.

Quite a few Freepers predicted this.
____________________________________________________________

Yes, FR did predict this. I didn't think it would occur so soon. I vastly underestimated the level of narcissism that drove him to so quickly implement his agenda. The rate at which he did it and the unmitigated arrogance of the entire Dem Party backfired and caused an unprecedented uprising of the American people, subsequently dropping him in the polls quickly. The public has abandoned him and his agenda. The rats are scuttling off the sinking ship.....”Aye captain, he's gonta blow!”

Here are Obama's comments at his rally in Madison:

...when I arrived in Washington twenty months ago, my hope and my expectation was that we could pull together, all of us, as Americans – Democrats and Republicans and independents – to confront the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. I hoped and expected that we could get beyond some of the old political dividers, between Democrats and Republicans, red states and blue states, that had prevented us from making progress for so long.

Yeah, that same old campaign elixer that he was peddling in 2008. Now, here are samples of how Obama continued his post-partisan presidential speech:

So I’ve had two main jobs since becoming president: to rescue the economy from this crisis, to clean up after their mess;

One of the things that the other side’s been able to do is to hoodwink a whole bunch of folks all across the country, after we had to take emergency measures to clean up their mess,

Many of the folks in the other party who are running today are the exact same people who spent the last decade driving our economy into the ditch.

But we understood we had to get the car out of the ditch,

But we’re finally on level ground, moving forward, and suddenly we get a tap on the shoulder. And we look behind us and who is it? It’s the Republicans and they’re asking for the keys back. And we’ve gotta tell them, “You can’t have the keys back. You don’t know how to drive! YOu don’t know how to drive! You don’t know how to drive; you can’t have them back.”

There you have it, Obama talking out both sides of his mouth -- again. Only this time, people are a bit wiser.

Notice that the people who are around him every day are getting the hell out of Dodge. They see first hand that he’s losing it.

The Commentary piece by Peter Wehner is spot on in it's analysis of Obama and his reaction to the American peoples rejection of his policies, which, because he sold them on the basis of his supposed personal charm and vaunted-but-wholly-imagined 'brilliance', Obama takes as a rejection of him. Obviously, that is impossible for this sheltered, pampered, fawned-over narcissist to accept so he 'lashes out'. At Republicans, of course, at Fox News, of course and even at Democrats that are sensing the political iceberg in their path and abandoning the metaphorical Titanic that is the Obama administration.

In short, Obama is an abject failure and, with no negative experiences and ultimate survival to draw from for the kind of mental and emotional strength that most people have, he simply cannot face that harsh reality. The attacks on 'anyone but Obama' are transparently self-serving and ineffectively defensive. They will only hasten his steep downward slide in job approval polls and more importantly, his ability to keep going in the face of political adversity.

As many have previously stated, Barack Hussein Obama is the classic 'empty suit' politician....a fake with no resume who, even had he been a conservative, should never have been seriously considered for the job of president. As an American-hating Marxist who wants to bring America to it's knees, where he thinks it deserves to be, Obama is clearly dangerous. If he really is cracking up, that could be extremely dangerous for all of us. Time will tell - but we should remain vigilant and do everything possible to curtail Obama's nation-killing objectives until he can be voted out of office in 25 months. That is, unless Obama decides to resign, first, which I believe is a very remote possibility.

“To my knowledge, Hitler never swung a golf club.”

That’s because Hitler only had one ball and he didn’t want to lose it in the rough.

This is going to be interesting. Everyone knows that this guy is an extreme narcissist. He has never been seriously challenged at anytime during his adult lifetime.
He may be able to reasonably cope with the expected loss of the House if he can find enough obsequious sycophants willing to coddle him. However, it does not appear likely that 0bama will be able to find any capable help because of his rigid ideology and even more rigid personality. Even the big business liberal Wall Street types are unwilling to associate with someone that is unwilling to change.
However, if the Republicans score a truly monumental victory in the House and take the Senate, no sycophant will be able to console him. The crack up will be a wondrous exhibition of psychopathology. Although he may lash out, he will not be able to consolidate power as Chavez has done.
What could happen in a best case (worst case for 0bama) scenario? Marital strife leading to a separation? A public display of intoxication? An angry Dean scream?
