The FBI has released a video showing the detonation of a prototype of the failed car bomb that was supposed to go off in Times Square in May. Had the device been made correctly, FBI officials say, it would have killed dozens of people and caused 'devastating' damage. Faisal Shahzad, who has admitted to planting the car bomb in a parked SUV on May 1, told investigators that he believed it would have killed about 40 people.

It looks like the FBI added a little extra something to make sure it went off. Fireworks and propane cylinders would not have done that. perhaps a generous pinch of C4 for good measure.

Exactly. I had a lib friend who said,

“The Brits don’t react like us. They don’t let it interfere with their lives.”

Just another non-story to the MSM, Bloomberg and the obama administration. The guy was inept so it doesn’t count. Just like the guy who tried to take down that plane on Christmas. That's what this bomb consisted of, same as the Times Square bomb.

The reason it didn't go off was because the timer was off by 12 hours.
