The funny part is, the “Stars and Bars” was the flag of the Confederacy (SALUTE!) but wasn’t what most people think. Many people confuse it with the battle flag of Alabama (I think?).

Exactly. But some of the idiots in this thread wouldn’t understand that. We cling to our guns and religion. They just cling to their bitterness.

The Stars and Bars was the flag of the Confederacy.
The battle flag is a red flag with a blue Saint Andrews cross (I think) with white stars.
The flag of the State of Alabama is a red Saint Andrews cross on a white field. Check my home page.

IIRC, the true Stars & Bars is the Naval Flag.
