Possibly my favorite movie - the dialogue by Clifford Odets still stings like a wasp!
You’ve given away my moniker, lol! Love the actress, dislike her politics.

Curtis on the left and Lemon on the right. Right? But then Lemon was definitely on the Left. I’m so confused. ;^)

I'm sorry to hear of Curtis passing away. He played some great roles over the years. The Great Race will always be one of my favorites. He and Natalie wood were so enjoyable in that. The Imposter Operation Petticoat and a number of movies in the 1960s were particularly enjoyable.

We’re losing more and more of that generation, passing right before our eyes.
Rest in Peace Tony, you’ve been promoted to ‘Singer of Songs’ in Our Father’s House.

Met him a year or so ago at a movie convention, was honored to have a short conversation about his film Taras Bulba, which I loved as a kid and now.
Houdini, Great Impostor, Chained Heat, Flintstones, Janet Leigh....
Read his autobiography, what a character.

Miss Marmelstein! Miss Marmelstein! Miss Marmelstein!
Oh, why is it always Miss Marmelstein?
Miss Marmelstein? Miss Marmelstein?
Other girls get called by their first names right away
They get cozy intimate ... Do you know what I mean?
Nobody calls me: "hey, baby doll!"
Or "Honey Dear" or "Sweetie Pie"
Even my first name would be preferable
Though it's terrible, it might be better: it's Yetta!
Or perhaps my second name that's Tessye
Spells T-E-S-S-Y-E!
But no, no, it's always Miss Marmelstein!
You'd think at least Miss M. they could try...
Miss Marmelstein! Miss Marmelstein!
Miss Marmelstein! Miss Marmelstein! Miss Marmelstein!
Oh, I could die!
