Jerry Brown.

Meg Whitman was too canned and promised too much.I am still waiting to see a sign that Whitman understands the issues a layer deeper than her consultant-driven talking points. And when you try to add up her promises, well, they don't add up.

I want a governor who will tell voters what they don't want to hear.

You are making a false assumption that California will slide into the abyss and die. That is impossible so long as Obama is the commander in chief. What do you think the $800 Billion stimulus was used for? To bail out failing gov’t and quasi-gov’t entities all over the country.

Obama will make sure that California is subsidized by the rest of the country’s tax payers. So the next 2 years are critical not just for CA but the rest of us tax payers. Whitman is 1000 times proven superior in handling finances and business than Brown. And Arnold was just an actor, remember? He does not know shyt from shinola when it comes to business savvy.

“Having lived in Calif. for almost 40 years.....”

Between the two of us that’s 100 years and I’m with
you. We’ve seen the departure of business after
business from California due to taxes and regulations.
And, Brown’s distain for corporations is legendary.
But if Whitman neglects to beat him over the head
with that fact then I’m not sure she deserves to win,
either.

One thing to remember, she will help boost the Republican candidate for president in 2012 in California, esp. Sarah Palin.

LOL!

Just as Arnold won California for Bush! Yep -- that worked well!

(Don't the campaigns have any new bot talking points?)

Then why not stay home and help elect Brown. That will make you happy when Whitman goes down.

Slow down??

I’m saying the patient is already dead, the only question remaining is who will be standing over the body when the lights go on?

I highly recommend that Brown be that person, since he is the one who got the ball rolling downhill in the first place.

What she did at eBay is not my definition of success.

What did she do at eBay?

It is not always an either/or choice. Movements are sometimes a multi-step game. In the long run, Whitman will set the movement back because she will be perceived as having carried the mantal of conservatism.

In two years it will be, see, the conservatives were wrong. Only if Whitman can pull it off is that not true. I don’t see it.

CA STILL is amongst the biggest economies in the world.
It is not dead by that definition. Just declining.

Its amazin that all these posters are peddling the great idea to not vote blahhhhh and peddle the same astroturf they spat out in 2008 about McCain and gave us a marxist muslim in the WH.

Our wing of the party did not give us Obama, yours did. Quit blaming the conservative base. We did not get us in this mess, remember?

Believe it or not Arnold has vetoed hundreds of Dem bills and almost all of Mark Leno Marxist bills.

HOGWASH! You keep posting that BS. Why don't you list them? Because you know you are full of it!

Arnold has vetoed more Republican bills than anything else and he has sponsored the most liberal of the liberal bills (e.g. AB32).

He passed a slew of Homosexual legislation that gave all the rights of marriage to the LGBT crowd, including a bunch of Leno bills.

Support who you want. Campaign for who you want. But please don't insult the rest of us by making this crap up.

I will be happy when the messed up California Republican party delivers a credible conservative candidate. Don't change the subject. It makes you sound like a liberal or worse, a RINO.

Sadly the Media leftist running the debate kept the attack on her and ignore that Moonbeam created the entire mess that state is suffering thru.

Why would anyone let that leftist from the Sac Bee sit on that panel.
That lady was directly involved in that false “ Meg never voted “ smear the Sac Bee created .

California is a Democrat dominated, union dominated Democrat wet dream.

Means the state is in a bad state of demise and may take total collapse and then some before the people here as a majority will support a candidate that pushes small government, responsibility and far more self reliance.
