The term "Crazy" gets thrown around quite a bit

Reminds me of a scene from one of the Pink Panther movies when Clouseau went to visit the sanitarium where former Chief Inspector Dreyfus was being treated.

Clouseau: That man is crazy!

The wife submitting to the husband is a response to the husband first sacrificing for his wife the way Christ sacrificed for the Church. It’s a two way street, not a one way street. It is frequently lifted from its context to create a negative. Same way with the passage about a wife being a “helper” to the husband - a “helper” is not a slave.

Four times, the ad shows Webster saying wives should submit to their husbands," the site points out. "In fact, Webster was cautioning husbands to avoid taking that passage as their own. The unedited quote is: 'Don't pick the ones [Bible verses] that say, 'She should submit to me.'"
