Muslims with secret clearances - just what the Manchurian Candidate From Mecca wants.

Is this more government madness? We can change all of this in November.

By electing Republicans? George W. Bush created the TSA. We need people from outside the establishment and to retire all the incumbents. We need people who actually understand what the constitutionally enumerated things are that the federal government is supposed to do.

Does the "Q" clearance still exist? I thought it had been replaced by something else, but it's been a long time since I was involved in classified stuff.

Also, don't forget "crypto" clearance. That's above Top Secret as well.

My brother, a Marine communications officer, spent two tours in Vietnam. He had to spend both tours "inside the wire." The regulations said that anyone with crypto clearance had to have an armed helicopter escort for every move outside the wire. As he put it, "Who ever heard of an armed helicopter escort for a Major?"

I had a Q clearance when I was with NNSA/OST. I think they still have some crypto/SIGINT/Diplomatic clearances that are "higher", but us MI and FLEO types never saw them. My last clearance was TS-SCI as a 35E with the Army.

Anyways, I always smirk and laugh at the "badge" that TSA "federal agents" have. They are NOT law enforcement, although they think they are. I make sure to point that out when I see them get out of bounds.

Just to make this more clear, a Q clearance is not an automatic grant to top secret info. The “need to know” qualifier still applies at all levels. I held the Q for over 10 years.

At Dulles International Airport in DC, about 30% of the women are Muslims, complete with head scarves!

Even in Dallas, at DFW, it’s about 5%!

Very true. Secret security clearance is pretty much a vanilla clearance. Its when you get access to TS SCI that really counts.

At least half the TSA are foreign nationals. I can’t believe any are high-school graduates, and all are booger-eating morons. We can kiss those “secrets” good-bye. They’ll be the first to tell their foreign family members about them or brag to their friends they know a secret.

“We lost lives on 9-11 because we were unable to identify the bad guys. If this helps keep the bad guys off airplanes then I am all for it.”

The TSA hasn’t helped much in the first place. While you are being strip searched at the front door there are illegal aliens working on the airplanes at the backdoor. It is all smoke and mirrors to make people such as yourself “feel good”.

Second, we knew the 9/11 terrorists were bad guys. We just didn’t do anything about it. For crying out loud, if we aren’t going to keep the bad guys out of the US we can’t complain when they kill us.

Where is that ever-so-amusing bunch of FReepers who had such blind faith in government?

That was on post #9.

Also a former TS/SCI holder. What you get to see is also determined by what “compartments” you have access to under the SCI. There are many different compartments. Also, you have to separately be read into each and every Special Access Programs (or SAPs). The secret clearance level is essentially meaningless these days. Almost all the action takes place at the higher levels.

Those of us that lost friends and family on 9-11 may not find much sense in what you say. The fact is that the system we have today the 9-11 bad guys would not have gotten on the airplane. This is much more then “feel good” and if a security clearance will save one life I am all for it. You sound like you have no interest in saving a life.

Bs. They would have got on just fine. You are brainwashed into believing the hype. In fact, the only reason they haven’t done it again is due to the military backlash they have received since.

I thought that seeing me naked in their full body scanners was enough access to secret information.
