I'm afraid that Maher will be disappointed at the reaction of the voters to this one. I have a Masters degree in Biology and have been teaching it for over 25 years and I agree 100% with what Christine says about the theory of evolution.

IMHO, Mr. Maher has not “evoluted” very far up the chain-—LOL!

I’m afraid you’re wrong. O”Donnell is toast and the worst candidate running on the Republican ticket. There’s just too much out there to lampoon her with. She did accomplish one thing though. She beat Mike Castle so at least that RINO is gone.

I tend to be more of an evolutionist myself (I believe it was guided by God) but this is just ridiculous.

Why is it that, to the left, a Muslim can express their belief in marrying 9 year old girls and it’s “religious freedom” but when a Christian says she believes in Creation, she’s a “kook” who shouldn’t be elected?

Her personal beliefs, unless they’re contrary to the principles of the Constitution, should be none of our business. She’s going to Washington to slash spending, restore sanity, and cut taxes, not perform witchcraft and teach kids the Bible.

Yeah, she was probably a bit nuts back then, weren’t we all?

I knew this was going to be a problem though, and I fear it will stain the Tea Party movement for the independents.

My primary question is: Why was she on this show in the first place, and what was she trying to prove? She needs to address this now.

But all those who believe in the TOE on FR indicated in scientific terms Theory really means Fact!

I personally believe the therory of evolution and have no issues with this.

Typical liberals trying to pigeonhole conservatives into a tight little box.

What she said was right, as was your comment. People like Maher siezed upon the theory, and made it their religion, because they felt that it could be used to supplant (just mho) Christianity. Such hatred. As you’ve said, they chose to “forget” that it is a theory. Heck, why is it that they allow themselves to forget the scientific method, and what that signifies for darwin and his theory? (rhetorical question)

Maher threatened to show more old clips of O'Donnell unless she appeared on his current cable show, "Real Time with Bill Maher."

Is that a form of extortion?

Whew, no big deal. I thought Maher would show a clip where Odonnell admitted to attending a racist anti semitic anti american church for 20 years, that would certainly destroy her chances......oh wait..

This woman should never be allowed to hold a legislative pen in her hand. So much for a GOP-controlled Senate.

“Well then why aren’t they, why aren’t monkeys still evolving into humans?” O’Donnell responded.

O’Donnell expressed similar views in 1996 as a spokeswoman for Concerned Women for America, a conservative Christian group, saying on a CNN broadcast that “too many people are blindly accepting evolution as fact.”

And this is suppose to be a problem for her? Don’t think so.

I believe that he showed the best he thought he had the first week, and it will downhill for him from here. On the other hand, he probably is doubling his ratings, because a couple of conservatives have to watch the show now to report on it....

A reasonably educated person would not try to refute the ToE by way of asking why we can’t see monkeys evolving today. Agree or disagree with the science, such a person would know it presupposes change occurs on a broad time frame. Not just since last Friday.

All she did was present herself as as not very well informed, or generally very bright.

My guess is next week Maher will top this. Were I he, I’d save the best stuff for last and build up to it. I can only imagine what it will take to top herself.

Why is anyone paying attention to this butt clown?

What is his viewership? 500K-1M? I bet it's less than the Cartoon Network.

Sick man! Sick mind!

“Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools!” (Romans 1:22)

“Wherefore God also gave them up......” (Romans 1:24)

“For this cause God gave them up.....” (Romans 1:26)

“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave then over to a reprobate mind,.....(Romans 1:28)

“It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of a living God.” (Hebrews 10:31)
