"The churches are now walking alongside chaplains from Fort Bragg, hosting training and praying for this event."

Millions of prayers a day go out on behalf of the Military. I guess this group would like to ban those as well.

Here's the link to this the Americans United hate group website: http://www.au.org/

I believe Romans 1:23 (I think) sums it up succinctly...”Professing to be wise, they were fools.”

Aren’t military personnel allowed personal time - with which they can exercise their 1st amendment rights?

Their heads would explode if they found out that Jefferson went to church on Sundays in the House of Representatives. LOL

Americans United for the Separation of Church and State have NOTHING to say as muslims are allowed to 'violate' their sacred seperation, time after time.

They're either liars - its just Christians they hate - or they're cowards.

Personally I think its a little of both.

Bragg is the home of the 82nd Airborne, a Ranger or SF unit, and if I recall correctly, part of the Delta Force.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

Patriots all. They are free to choose their extracurricular activities. God is already welcome there.

The military often holds morale-building events such as concerts on posts. To discriminate against such an event only because it is religious in nature would be a violation of the 1st Amendment.

Never heard these commie piggies whining when one of their muzzie pals was playing tunes that left 11 Americans dead at Ft. Hood.

This "peaceful" revolution to take America back is cool but...

I have often wondered how the United Church of Christ justifies the continued credentialing of American’s United’s CEO Rev. Barry Lynn.

How could anyone possibly construe his employment as a ministry of Word and Sacrament?

No one is being forced to attend, and I doubt that the military is paying for it, so STFU. (sorry don-o)

— improperly enlists the military in a bid by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association to win Christian converts.

Oh the horror. Some ADULTS might decide to become Christians. We can't have any of that free exercise of religion stuff going on, you know.

Has it escaped the notice of these busybodies with too much free time on their hands, that the military provides chaplains for its soldiers?

Unless the soldiers are under orders to attend and to convert, they need to mind their own stinkin' business.

America needs all the prayers it can get. These losers need to shut up. It isn’t about separation of church and state. It is about silencing Christians. Well, we are sick of our rights being trampled and I will not be silenced.

What really ticks me off is that if it were a muslim gathering, we wouldn’t hear a peep!
