Coons Used Power of His Office to Harass Political Dissenter

Tonight I spoke with Alan Muller, who runs a site at Green Delaware -- and thinks Chris Coons should be defeated. Mr. Muller wrote a blog post about how he had been harassed by Chris Coons for his local political efforts -- in actions that Muller terms evil in a small place:

This is about evil. It could be a lot worse. . . . But it’s evil enough in [its] own little way and the person currently causing our problems, New Castle County Executive Chris Coons, wants to be a United States Senator and apparently has the support of many people who don’t know what he really is.

A key point I want to make is that Coons, a rich boy with a law degree and a Master’s in Ethics from Yale Divinity School, is actually a much nastier, more manipulative, more dangerous, more special-interest-serving person than his thuggish predecessor Tom Gordon.

Criticism from a far-left liberal

Sounds like a Republican with an axe to grind, huh? Not so much. On the phone, Mr. Muller told that he is "way over on the lefty liberal end of the political spectrum," but would never vote for Chris Coons because, he says, Coons has "no respect for his constitutents." Muller told me: "I am one of those people who thinks the world is safer with the Democrats in control of the Senate, but I could never support Coons, because he is personally malicious." He said that Coons is "very bright and he knows how to jerk off the public while representing special interests."

No, if you read the whole thing, you’ll see he thinks she is a crazed wingnut. That won’t endear him to Free Republic readers . . . but it does give some credibility to his criticism of Coons. At least you know it’s not politically motivated.

Good point. I knew without asking he would never cast a vote for a conservative, but I was feeling frisky.

Maybe this info should be passed along to the O’Donnell campaign. Could make for some interesting ammo.

Shame on you and other Freepers for linking these sweet little creatures with a despicable piece of garbage just because they have the same name. Shame....you owe apologies to our little furry friends.

A picture of a RAT is more appropriate. :O

“A key point I want to make is that Coons, a rich boy with a law degree and a Master’s in Ethics from Yale Divinity School”

And a previous Marxist to boot. “Watch out” is the key word. This guy is a walking contradiction waiting to explode like some bomb in an Israeli Pizza parlor. He doesn’t know if he is coming or going. Resolve rich/Marxist/divinity school? One word — time bomb. The last thing he’ll give up is his richness, then divinity school will tell him to give it up and Marxism will tell him there is no God and riches are an evil. So, he won’t give up his riches — how could he win an election if he did — and he has to jungle the religious hand grenade with the Marxist hand grenade and he’ll be happy to pull the pins on both just forget it all in one giant explosion. Folks, these are the leaders of the Left. Confused bastards everyone of them. Let them pull the pins, but be sure to walk quickly away.

Why is Karl Rove not directing his fire at Chris Coons? Has Coons retained Karle Rove as his campaign advisor?

Chris Coons is about as flawed a piece of work as ANY current candidate for election to the US Senate, and that includes Harry Reid, who has called Coons his “pet”. This was a rigged election between Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum until Christine O’Donnell came along and kicked over the apple cart.

Unelectable? What makes Chris Coons so especially “electable”?

Eliminate the negative, accentuate the positive. We now know all of Christine O’Donnell’s “negatives”, and we all know how well negative campaigning works. How about a similar response (not led by Christine O’Donnell) directed at Chris Coons, funded by a “527” with no direct connection with her campaign? Apparently, this sort of maneuvering is perfectly legal, as it was widely used in the last two election cycles by the “advocacy” campaigners.

“Nuts and sluts” has been used much to our disadvantage. Time to restore a little balance.

“There’s very little in the way of journalism happening in Delaware these days,” he told me. “Delaware is a political wasteland.”

THAT is the understatement of the year. Not only is journalism dead, but censorship is the modus operandi of the local press. Nothing bad is ever said about the DuPont family, the Bidens, Castles, Carpers and minor politicians like “Raise Taxes” Coons.

Examples:
1. I have written 10 letters to the editor in the past two years. One was published with alterations. Another was published , but with TWO rebuttals on the same day. The others have been “lost”.
2. There is a place for online comments on the various letters to the editor. They refuse to accept my registration.

So much for freedom of speech. BTW, this letter was refused publication, lest anyone think I am a “radical:

“The people of Delaware must really be proud of themselves. They are one of five states who will not let our troops vote. It is alright for them to serve 24/7/365 under conditions most people cannot imagine and to risk their lives. But vote? No, it’s too hard to get them ballots. It might require some extra effort.

It is actions like this that make me ashamed to live here. Everybody associated with denying our troops the vote - shame on you. Every decent person in Delaware - shame them.

Semper fi”

Coons is another product of ultra-liberal education. Tower Hill School ($24k a year & Castle also went there), Amherst College (uber-LIB school); Yale Divinity (radical Christianity) and Yale Law (ACLU School) are what his parents wasted their money on. He has a trust fund big enough to allow him to be a professional politician/never having to work.

He is adept at taking other peoples’ money, never knowing what it is to struggle with a mortgage and balancing a budget. Coons is not just another politician; he is adangerous tax-raising LIB. LIBs are a gene pool that is polluted and must be dried up.

Did you notice his “cost saving step” of no longer sending out the tax assessments by mail—but “you can go on-line.” It was a good way of hiding the programmed tax increases, as the only notice you get is when the mortgage gets reconfigured for higher escrow.

More harassment by Coons:

“...falsely accusing [attorney Thomas S. Neuberger] of...violating federal court orders, unethical behavior and other wrongdoing...disclosing to the Delaware media that plaintiff was dying of a brain tumor and that it
was causing him to act erratically. Plaintiff also asserts that the Individual Defendants discussed his private medical information with numerous other individuals and during county government meetings”
