Just a thought. The Democrats are going to go after her on this issue. Rove attacking her may take actually relieve some of the pressure of the Dems attacks.Just saying “I agree with Karl Rove” has got to stick in their throats.

Most of the “witchcraft” stuff in the last 50 years is more popular culture nonsense than bearing any real resemblance to real witchcraft in the first place.
I once worked with someone who was actually a wiccan, they though it was quite amusing. They likened it to asking a shintoist in japan about what being a catholic is all about.
I never trusted Rove much, but this crap is really getting on my nerves.

Notice how the attacks on Christine O’Donnell follow the same pattern of attacks on Sarah Palin the weekend following her introduction by McCain as the vice-presidential nominee. I still recall that HuffPost ran a picture of Sarah from her days as a high school basketball player - as a means of introducing her to their readers. Here we have a minor league talk show guy dragging out video clips from another century.
In neither case did mainstream commentators discuss either woman’s position on the issues. Instead, immense interest was shown in the education levels of these women (but none in the fact that each had to work to pay for college). Governor Palin’s college degree was demeaned because she had attended several different colleges before graduating. In the case of O’Donnell, the fact that the college had withheld her degree over a debt owed somehow overshadowed the fact that she had performed the necessary academic work. Do liberal women or any men get that treatment?
In both cases (O’Donnell and Palin) the intent is to reduce the woman to an object, preferably an object of ridicule, but always the intent is to strip power and position away. This is done almost exclusively by men. As my wife explained to me, men fear conservative women, period. They especially fear conservative women with guns and Bibles.

Rove needs to explain (and please someone in the media ask!) why he is so adamant in his support for Castle. Something smells here - maybe a prid pro quo that needs to be unearthed!
It sounds like she is someone who got close to evil, and saw it for what it really was; and rejected it firmly.
We need more office holders who know good and evil. Most just want to get along.
