We live in the age of rebranding. If something isn't working in business, politics or government, the first remedy is often to change the offending product's name. In order to shake off an embattled public image, tobacco giant Philip Morris became Altria. The Minerals Management Service, which became a byword for corrupt and industry-captured oversight of offshore drilling is now the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement. And so on.
And now the White House is following the same playbook in trying to guide environmental debate away from the contentious phrase "global warming." In its place, the administration suggests the phrase "global climate disruption" when discussing environmental issues.
According to a report by Fox News, White House science adviser John Holdren gave a speech last week in Oslo, Norway, urging adoption of the new terminology. Calling global warming a "dangerous misnomer," Holdren argued that the term is essentially too light and fluffy, since he believes the climate issues facing humanity are more dire and complex.

Howw about:
GCD = Global Climate Deception
There must be a way to force our schools to stop indoctrinating our children with this gutter garbage. Most touchy-feely adults who buy into this BS are for the most part a lost cause as they will never bother to take the time to research the claims for themselves to discover the fraud that is being perpetrated upon humanity.
The One World Government advocates and marxists (redundant?) need to be exposed to the average man and, mostly, women, and their true agenda exposed.
Hurricane season will be known as man cause natural disaster season.
OCO = Overseas Contingency Operations
They have a flair for this kind of thing. Like all good politicians.

Whatever it takes to keep the grant money flowing.
Which raises the question, why isn’t someone building a database of grant whores?
I feel that this accurately describes validity of the scientific nature of global-warming, climate change, leprechaun heating up, cow flatulence heatness/coldness alteration or whatever phony label they put on it.
Frankly, I think it's totally disgusting that they think that the public is so stupid that we will fall for the same scam over and over again just because they re-name it.

Are they going to start calling the Tax Return “The Grand Prize Sweepstakes?”
This would make it more palatable to those who don’t like to pay their taxes. The Feds could “say” that each taxpayer “may” win $100 million, but never give it away....much like they support the carbon credit scam that is also based on nothing.
Rebranding $hit does not nor will it change its smell.
As such, as it pertains to global warming, a scam will always be just that, a scam, no matter the amount put into rebranding it..... =.=
