The truth is that even their own party membership didn't want it. The leadership had to the out-right bribe, offer pork, give special deals, and scramble to include last minute changes and by this time didn't even know what really was in it!
People are as pissed about that as they're angry about it being passed. Special deals piss people off! Also, how about the fact that the bill passed DOESN'T APPLY TO CONGRESS OR THEIR STAFF!!!!

Let us get to the real record of the Demonrat party. When they control everything it is a disaster. Let us not forget that Clinton was self-destructing and was only helped by the GOP takeover in ‘94 while Demonrats took over Congress and a great many states in 2006 and things started going to hell leading up to the national level with 0bama and this corrupt, incompetent Congress. Take a look at the disastrous results when Demonrats have control of states, cities and now the national level and tell me where Republican control comes close to the hell holes that are Demonrat strongholds. I think that should be made an issue held against the Demonrats. It’s a real eye opener to their evil policies and criminal organization.
