Never thought that I’d say this back in the 1980’s.....but I trust Pravda more than 90% of the American papers.
They warned us about socialism/communism right around the time Obama took office.... they lived through it already they could see the signs.
They know that man-made global warming is a hoax.

I’d seen unbiased stories to the effect that a certificate of live birth is insufficient for a passport application. Does anyone know if that’s true? If it is.......then how does BO travel around so much?

How ironic that today, September 17, 2010, Constitution Day
America gets much more truth from PRAVDA than any one of the
Professional LSM Obama-flacks.

Pravda reads Free Republic. Pretty much a cut-and-paste from some threads here, with a few insults thrown in.

Is PRAVDA as tightly controlled as it was in the past? Would the Russian government (Putin) have any say in whether or not this opinion piece was written? Would Putin use what someone called a 3rd rate tabloid to plant this sort of article?

I went to pick up a copy of my birth certificate and I asked that question. According to the clerk the long form of the birth certificate is needed now for a passport. That was his story but he may just be pushing the more expensive certificate.

Pravda has gotten quite conservative, and it is no longer state controlled.
OTOH, I doubt whether anyone in Russia would venture to offend Putin about anything he really felt strongly about. So, at any rate, we may conjecture that Putin has no strong objections if Pravda undermines The One, which they have done from time to time. Evidently even the birth issue isn’t off limits, as it is here in the U.S.
