A longtime Washington D.C. insider, and former advisor to the Obama election campaign and transition team, speaks out on an administration in crisis, and a president increasingly withdrawn from the job of President.
2008 gave America an incredibly charismatic candidate for President of the United States. Speech after speech showed a candidate with increasing momentum as primary race after primary race concluded. And then came the nomination, more speeches, culminating in an election night victory.
According to the person sitting across from me, those were incredibly exciting times, even for one who had been a participant with three previous presidential hopefuls. Barack Obama appeared to move from one city to the next effortlessly, gaining confidence and motivation with each campaign stop. He was remarkable to watch. He took the script, elevated it with his oration, left the crowds screaming for more, and then would do it all over again, time after time after time. On the campaign trail, Obama is a machine.

You spot an interesting tidbit. Who left the white house over a month ago, that would have been in a position to know this?
Would have been early August, perhaps? I will start looking around, but there are much better sleuthers than me.
Anyone brave enough to send this on to the white house? Maybe we can really mess with his head!
DC Scuttlebutt: Obama a Chainsmoking, Nervous Wreck
If anything, it has only gotten worse since the end of the primaries.

Do you think the Democrats will be willing to have him endorse them even more so now after this article get’s face time ? or will the MSM try to hide this under the rug ?
I’ve said this a million times in my life.
The worst thing that could ever happen to a person is to acheive their heart’s desire, and find out that it isn’t what they thought it was or it doesn’t work or it doesn’t really change anything.
When I’ve seen people really fall apart, this is the cause.
Libs all over this country are finding out it doesn’t work. It’s tearing them up, except they are reaching out to one another to try and rationalize it by saying nobody went far enough.
It’s one thing to make the sale. But once you make the sale, you gotta deliver.
I'd say that this interview , if there's any actual substance to it, is the start of him being forced out.
We knew this! We tried to tell others but were branded as racists. Obama is NOT SMART! He was ridden the affirmative action wave to the White House!
Bump for later.
Hence the saying, "Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it."
So if Obama doesnt appear interested in the job of president, what does he do day after day? Well, he takes his meetings just like any other president would, though even then, he seems to lack a certain focus and on a few occasions, actually leaves with the directive that be given a summary of the meeting at a later date. I hear he plays a lot of golf, and watches a lot of television ESPN mainly. Ill tell you this if you want to see President Obama get excited about a conversation, turn it to sports. That gets him interested. You start talking about Congress, or some policy, and he just kinda turns off. Its really very strange. I mean, we were all led to believe that this guy was some kind of intellectual giant, right? Ivy League and all that. Well, that is not what I saw. Barack Obama doesnt have a whole lot of intellectual curiosity. When he is off script, he is what I call a real slow talker. Lots of ummms, and lots of time in between answers where you can almost see the little wheel in his head turning very slowly. I am not going to say the president is a dumb man, because he is not, but yeah, there was a definite letdown when you actually hear him talking without the script.
Obama is lazy? He has no experience? He cares only about himself? No, really?!
I am just shocked. /s
Hey, Hussein figured he was running for KING! He didn’t KNOW he could be criticized or that he might actually have to APPLY himself. Those are NEW EXPERIENCES for THE ONE!!!
From POTUS to POUTUS .... in less than 2 years.
D’Souza’s article must have given him a sh!tf!t.
WHAT AN AMAZING ARTICLE.
This fits with what we see this President doing: Golf. Vacation. A golf vacation. A vacation during his vacation.
It also makes it clear why Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid were so successful: There was a power vaccuum, and they filled it. Their most rabid-left ideas were now possible.
It also makes it obvious why Michelle Obama insists on vacationing abroad alone. She doesn’t like Barack.
Excellent Points.
Also, if I may add, the comment Michelle Obama made to Carla Bruni-Sarkozy about being the first lady is “...hell,I can’t stand it.”
“Obama loved to campaign. He clearly didnt like the work of being President though, and that attitude was felt by the entire White House staff within weeks after the inauguration.”
So I guess that piece in the British papers in March 09 was right when it said that Obama seemed astounded by the sheer amount of work that crosses a president’s desk.
I probably read what Dr. Vankin said, but just in case, can you or anyne else post the link?
I will be googling for it in the meantime.
Rings true, and goes along with the “I hate being First Lady” story on Drudge today.
>We have to march on not retreat and defeat every anti-American Democrat in this November election and in 2012.
You’re forgetting about the Anti-American Republicans.
