Are ya listening John Cornyn, Kay Bailey?
Or does the ruling class continue to ignore at their own peril?
I suspect the latter.

I’ve sent three letters to Gov Perry asking himn to call a special session to enact.
So far, silence.
He would be reelected easily if he would.

“The 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution grants so-called birthright citizenship to babies born in this country regardless of the immigration status of their parents. Asked whether that provision should be repealed, 48 percent of respondents say yes, while 38 percent say no.”
No need to repeal. The 14th Amendment was written only to grant citizenship “subject to the jurisdiction of.”

LOL! Ain't that the truth!
Actually I suspect that the percentage of folks in Texas who support this is much higher than what they are reporting.

65%? That’s sad. I remember a time in Texas when that number would have at least been in the upper 80% range.

The 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution grants so-called birthright citizenship to babies born in this country regardless of the immigration status of their parents. Total fabrication which has taken on the character of a mass hallucination.
The 14th applied to slaves, period.

Bill White is running nearly continuous attack ads against Rick Perry, accusing him of ignoring illegal immigration problems.
White claims he has a better solution -- send more cops to the border. But, I'm really surprised that Perry hasn't fired back: Houston was a "sanctuary city" during White's term as mayor.
