Democrats were able to take their share of the news cycle not merely by nominating scandal-plagued Rep. Charlie Rangel, D-N.Y., to run for reelection, but by picking perhaps the absolute most appropriate image they could in this political climate: a target. Have a look.
Looks like the Democrats just gave themselves a D. Which some may feel is generous. Is the circle around it supposed to be more Obama iconography?

Oh, good grief.
D is for doofus.
Actually, what I think they were going for here is the D marker on the gearshift of, say, a European luxury car.
You know, the old “they drove the car into the ditch” meme, with “D” for (driving) forward and “R” for reverse.
Not to mention that the entire galaxy is sick of Obama trotting out that embarrassing pseudo-metaphor every five minutes, the metaphor just does not make sense, on several different levels.

Make it brown and change it to “Change You Can Step In”.

Actually, the target with the D for Democrats works for me. Just take the verbage off at the bottom and replace it with the words “Gone on November 2”

It’s not a “D” in the center of the target. It’s a circle, with a hard left edge.

Who knows how much DNC cash was piddled away to create one of the dullest logos one could create. It looks like some kind of European street sign. Frankly, I like the idea that they wasted money on this stupidity.

Attention photoshop-savvy dudes and dudettes:
Someone please put a blue bar through the circle for “No Democrats!” This simply cries out to be done.
Thanks!

It reminded me of that horrible "thing" that was one of the marketing symbols for one of the Olympics. Can't find an image now, but did find this:
5 Recent Rebrands That Caused the Most Upset. The D is for Democrat Debacle should top that and any similar list!

You know, the old they drove the car into the ditch meme, with D for (driving) forward and R for reverse.
Now the analogy makes even less sense, because "Driving Forward Into The Ditch" is "change that matters", while "Reversing away from the ditch" is "the status quo".
To: MizSterious
Wait a minute! Does that really say “change that matters”?
As opposed to “change you can believe in”?
WOW. That IS a change. Think about it.
Moreover, this is exactly what the Tea Party has been saying. The changes that Obama is making to our country matter greatly. They matter so much that the people are rising up in a Second American Revolution to stop those changes.

I may have missed it, but how much money did that cost up? ‘Cause you know they had to pay someone with our money.
