Michelle Obama thinks being America’s First Lady is ‘hell’, Carla Bruni reveals today in a wildly indiscreet new book.

Miss Bruni reveals that Mrs Obama replied when asked about her position as the U.S. president’s wife: ‘Don’t ask! It’s hell. I can’t stand it!’

Details of the private conversation, which took place at the White House during an official visit by Nicolas Sarkozy last March, emerged in Carla And The Ambitious, a book written in collaboration with Miss Bruni.

Nicolas Sarkozy meets Spanish prime minister

French President Nicolas Sarkozy arrived in Madrid on Monday at the start of a two-day state visit aimed at reinforcing cooperation between France and Spain.

He was accompanied by his wife Carla Bruni who sported a new hairstyle of soft curls when the pair landed in the Spanish capital on the president's private plane.

The couple were greeted by Spain's king, Juan Carlos, and Queen Sofia and honoured with a military parade before attending a luncheon at the Pardo palace, where visiting dignitaries traditionally stay.

Well. I don’t like MO but I also don’t think it is fair to criticize someone for something they have no control over. She is big boned. Do you really think that a pre-requisit to becoming first lady should be that you must have certain sized hips and big boobs and a butt that’s not too big? The photo with the two nice looking gals (Carla and Princess what’s-her-name from Spain) and Mooshell is a photoshop. The two gals were photographed at one time, and Mooshell was photographed on another visit going up the same stairs.

Nice compare and contrast however. As is your photo in your post. And it isn’t just the size difference - but the grace and poise. Although I guess if you’re thinking “Dang I hate my job. Gotta shake hands with all these folks...” your grace and poise would show it.

Have to agree with you on NOT attacking the person on their physical attributes, or, lack thereof.

But, HONESTLY....you don’t think “we” voted for the pResident for his/her skills, intelligence, etc. THIS time around, do you?

The “Won” was placed/voted in, based on his skin color.
Ironically, it occurs to me that if “we” can vote for skin color as it applies to the pResident, we can certainly “judge” the first “lady” on her caboose.
