Apparently the web site crashed earlier with a flood of people trying to donate.

We aren't from Delaware either, but after what the Republican establishment did to her, I think she could use a thumbs up.
I tried to get on during Rush, but couldn't. I can only do $50 right now, but it's better than nothing. I'm going to wait another hour. We have a 56K dial up. If the site doesn't have easy access, we won't be able to get on.

Coons Leads, First State Could Decide Senate Control
Raleigh, N.C. – There is no doubt Delaware Republicans picked the weakest candidate to match up against Democrat Chris Coons for U.S. Senate.
Coons enters the short general election contest with a 50-34 lead over Christine O’Donnell. Had longtime Congressman Mike Castle won last night, he would have a 45-35 lead over Coons. Coons performs 26 points better against O’Donnell than against Castle. Castle has been elected statewide 12 times, but O’Donnell has lost bids for each of Delaware’s Senate seats by margins of 30 and 41 points, in stronger Democratic years 2006 and 2008.

As an aside, since I do not know much about Christine (her website link goes directly to a contribution page and Wikipedia doesn’t provide details), is she married? Does she have kids?

I don’t live in Delaware, but I am delighted that O’Donnell won the GOP senate primary. Her opponent was an all caps RINO and would have voted just the way the women weasels from Main vote in the senate. Better to lose a seat on bed rock GOP principles than let in a RINO who will dump on us year after year.
