For all of Castles spending on mailings and calls, Im guessing that the support from Limbaugh, Hannity and Levin in the last few days were vastly more effective in reaching GOP voters. Candidates really need to spend less money on mailings and work on other techniques for

Love it!
I posted a few days ago that, in years like this, the anger isn't fully picked up in polls and the results of the election are always more lopsided or surprising than predicted. People put off their decision, and wait for any sign of improvement; fairly so. Absent any meaningful progress, they throw in the towel at the last moment and just punish the incumbents of the in party. For the Dems' sake, there had better be some shocking economic upticks, or it's going to be bloodier than what things look like now.
