And honestly the moment after I read your scoop I thought Christine was going to win.
People will agree to almost anything on the phone to get off the phone, and the fact that they got 8,000 commitment out of 20,000 people called said to me that out of those 20,000, only about 8,000 would admit to supporting Castle. That’s only about 40% support, if Castle is batting under 50% with that group there is no reason to think he’d do any bad among all the Republican voters.

The GOP has been a mess ever since the end of Pres. Reagan.
Too cowardly to make a definitive stand on conservative principles the party became muddled and weak. They’ve gone back to play defensive politics rather than seeking to be leaders.
My analogy is that they play ball control when up slightly while the opposing team chips away at the lead.
The left palys to win at any cost while the RINO hopes to be liked by everyone.
Add Michaud losing. Maybe Pingree.
That’s Maine CD 2 (Michaud) which I would say Leans Republican right now. and Maine CD 1 (Pingree) which I would call a tossup.
LePage is the top of the ticket Governor, tea party candidate, and he’s doing extremely well in CD-2.
