9/11/10 Koran burning at Ground Zero captured on video.
You stated your church has missionary's to Muslims “Immigrants” which we should not at this time be bringing here...even so those who are coming via your churches outreach know quite well that even living in the US they will be subject to death threats from their own people for converting. You cannot protect them from the fatwas against them indefinitely... and they know this.
Furthermore the Islamic terrorists know very well there are Christian Missionary's doing as you are and are infiltrating terrorists among those Immigrants....they are being taught Christian lingo and what Christians expect in order to do so.
I have no problem with missionaries converting Muslims “”IN THEIR COUNnTRIES..and yes they could die for doing so...so don't other nationalities besides Muslims...But bringing them here is not the answer for us or for them.
If Moose want to learn how to be faux Christians, they don’t need to let themselves be wooed by missionaries. They only have to turn on their local religious channel.
” I would never burn a book but I would hope that we still have that freedom.”
+++++++++++++++++++++++++
Perhaps you should step out of your comfort zone and burn a book sometime. Then test whether that freedom is still yours. Just sayin’ it doesn’t have to be a Koran. It could be............well, you pick it.
I burned a book today and it’s liberating. With bacon, it’s a delicious smell and experience.
I see FR as just that Free from having to be so darned politically correct and folks able to tell us exactly how they see and feel even if we may not like it. It sharpens us to debate and loose it now and then...and if goes to far the moderators might then step in. But it's a place that grooms people to have spine and backbone because no doubt we are going to need it! We do not live in a "nice" society anymore....that changed dramatically on 9/11. Coupled with our schools dumbing down our kids...where are they going to get the spine to stand when they need too?
FR is of course many other things to many of us...but it is not a place for fainthearted people as most here recognize we have a political war with our politicians, and a religious war from those who would have Christianity be a thing of the past.
This place rocks and rolls like the bunkers in a war zone. I assure you soldiers have no time nor tolerance for those not in the game they are in...and neither should we. Peacemakers yes....fainthearted..it doesn't seem so. We get armed and regroup here...it's the perfect place to come!
The biggest problem re militant Islam is that so much Saudi money is going into financing Wahabi Madassas. The Wahabi sect was founded several centuries ago. It came from the poorest most backward area of Saudi Arabia and is now being spread throughout the Muslim world. In madrassas, Islamic schools, all they usually do is recite the Koran in Arabic, even if the local language is something else. Often they are not even taught Arabic to the point where they understand what they are reciting. This is rather like when Christianity was all in Latin. Martin Luther’s revolution was both to fight corruption in the Church, and to spread the use of local languages. The Muslim’s have not had their Martin Luther.
Ayaan Hirsi Ali, is a Somali woman who grew up in Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia, and Kenya and had her intellectual awakening and activism when she escaped a forced marriage by moving to the Netherlands. She made the controversial movie “Submission” with Theo van Gogh who was murdered by an Islamist. I heard her speak 3 years ago and at the time she was working for a conservative US think tanks that was also protecting her. Her book “Infidel” describes her transition from a traditional Muslim upbringing, with genital mutilation performed by her grandmother when her parents were away, to her current state of non-belief. Anyone who wishes to understand the plight of women in Islam should read this very personal book.
Yes, that is a different address from the one than orginally posted. http://www.youtube.com/verify_controversy?next_url=http%3A//www.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DoRcUdruhgyw
And of course you got yer dog attacking a Koran...
Thanks for the ping!
I have to agree with you...as I have lived through and seen it all unfold in my adult life.
Not developing our energy resources - oil, gas etc... in this country and instead, relying on the largess of those who hate us, we have basically paid for the club for them to beat us with.
Love being a freedom loving patriotic AMERICAN!
You think the radical Islamists need a recruiting tool for the jihadists?
That would be like Jewish people needing a recruiting tool for a Shiva, or Catholics needing a recruiting tool for a wake.
Islam has had the recruiting tool for way over a millennium. They call it the Koran!
Do you really think that if we are quiet and say nothing they will stop their global murder of humanity!?
This man is not to blame for the evil of Islam.
AMEN!
Bravo and God Bless.
mostly pacified?
What “Happy Land” are you living in?
my friend, a sister in arms is in Iraq right now, she sent me a 2 word reply when I told her about it. Care to guess what those 2 words were? “BURN IT!”
You can carve a hole into the pages of a book to hide valuables on your bookcase. Paper is paper.
I think the ground zero guy was just burning a few pages to say “yeah here I am burning a few pieces of paper in a calm fashion what is the big deal?”.
What he did worked out well because he did not spew hatred. I think he was merely showing it could be done in the US still.
And it really was not a big deal.
911 was an actual issue worth complaining about.
Wow... great post... concise and truth declared for all who wish to hear.
:-)
Bump your post. Sad but true.... all you have said. If wishes were ponies... but then again they are not. Reality bites and too many here do not like reality.
Oh, come on. If the worst they did was burn books, you wouldn't be calling them barbarians.
