Dont worry...I’ll burn one for ya...
Sorry about the source, there is a lot of junk out there but this was one of the better ones in terms of information.

Thanks!
You go right ahead, babes! It’s freedom of speech.......I’m just trying to get to the bottom of the real ‘motive’ of this so-called ‘church’ and the ‘$hit-stirring’.
I think you really need to go back and reread what you just wrote. Then when you get finished go and look up the 1st Amendment.
I vehemently disagree with the phelps gang but they are citizens and have the same rights as you or I whether you like it or not.
The best solution is to simply ignore them and not feed their need of attention.
Well, he has great many supporters here on FR.
Here is what raised red flags for me.
In our society and culture, burning of books never is associated with opposition (like flag burning), its common association is with powers that be hiding knowledge or suppressing information. No one in our culture usually thinks “I am going to oppose that religion or enemy so I will burn his books”. Instead, book burnings archetypal associations are of 1984 and Fahrenheit 451.
Book burnings and bannings also don’t result in rallying enemies, what it does is create a ‘forbidden knowledge’ that people usually seek out. In other words, for Islam, it would draw people to it to find out what the ‘forbidden knowledge’ is.. It is almost a publicity stunt.
Maybe I’m over-thinking it.. but this is the first thing that ran through my head..
While in the eyes of the law, the pastor who plans to do this Koran burning has the legal right, on the moral side of the question, should he do it?
I do know the answer.

That is a GREAT point.
Bull! We just have a proper sense of perspective.
Thankfully the Patriot Guard provide support to military families who otherwise would be at the mercy of these vermin. A few hundred patriots on motorcycles make an effective barrier so these families can bury their loved ones in some semblance of peace.
This officially ends all debate about Terry Jones. He is, in the words of the great Bob Grant, a fake, phony, fraud.
I guess, "proper perspective" means support for and celebration of book-burning. Nice. Very nice.
Fran, honey, I know it's not easy but I think you need to set that crack pipe down and give it a rest for a while.
Clearly they have the same motive as the mohammed cartoonist....to exercise their right to freedom of expression....
If it shakes the “moderate muslims” out of the jihad tree...more power to them...
They are putting themselves in harms way to illustrate that radical islam isnt peaceful or non violent...it's a death cult that will murder, extort, and riot...in the name of allah...*spits*...and that so called “moderates” are in fact a minority in Islam...
There is no moral equivalency between Christianity and Islam....and actions like this prove it...
I’m not celebrating anything, other than the fact that we have freedoms in this country to express our opinions no matter how unpopular they may be.
I could care less about this stupid church. And I care even less that somebody a half a world away might be offended by it.
DoveWorld, another set of ego and money driven scammers.
‘our side’? This does not represents our side.
