You go right ahead, babes! It’s freedom of speech.......I’m just trying to get to the bottom of the real ‘motive’ of this so-called ‘church’ and the ‘$hit-stirring’.

Here is what raised red flags for me.

In our society and culture, burning of books never is associated with opposition (like flag burning), its common association is with powers that be hiding knowledge or suppressing information. No one in our culture usually thinks “I am going to oppose that religion or enemy so I will burn his books”. Instead, book burnings archetypal associations are of 1984 and Fahrenheit 451.

Book burnings and bannings also don’t result in rallying enemies, what it does is create a ‘forbidden knowledge’ that people usually seek out. In other words, for Islam, it would draw people to it to find out what the ‘forbidden knowledge’ is.. It is almost a publicity stunt.

Maybe I’m over-thinking it.. but this is the first thing that ran through my head..

Their “motive”?

Clearly they have the same motive as the mohammed cartoonist....to exercise their right to freedom of expression....

If it shakes the “moderate muslims” out of the jihad tree...more power to them...

They are putting themselves in harms way to illustrate that radical islam isnt peaceful or non violent...it's a death cult that will murder, extort, and riot...in the name of allah...*spits*...and that so called “moderates” are in fact a minority in Islam...

There is no moral equivalency between Christianity and Islam....and actions like this prove it...

The argument being made by our government is that protest actions in America can have a deadly impact on US troops (and foreign contractors like Haliburton employees).

The government isn't saying that this man has an ugly history and questionable associations with people like Phelps.

They are saying that desecrating a koran is morally offensive and the State Department condemns those who would do such a thing that provokes offense.

Yet when Hillary Clinton was a Senator she defended public money going to an exhibition in NY with Mary depicted in elephant dung saying that those who are offended need to just suck it up.

And when it was pointed out that ANSWER and CODE PINK were emboldening the enemy in a time of war by providing justification for “insurgents” rising up against our troops, we were told in no uncertain terms by the woman who herself declared in February 2002 that “BUSH KNEW” in advance about the 9-11 attacks, “I'm sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and disagree with this administration, somehow you're not patriotic.”

So which is it?

I don't defend the messenger, but I certainly defend his right to desecrate a koran. The same and worse has been done for decades to the American flag and to Bibles stateside.

Barack Obama was MENTORED personally by the racist hate monger Jeremiah Wright in his church of God "Damn" America.

I CANNOT be smeared by any talk of Jones or any other figure. I never attended his church. Never championed his agenda. He has a right and that right is being trampled by the same Marxist government that trampled on my religion since my birth.
