While in the eyes of the law, the pastor who plans to do this Koran burning has the legal right, on the moral side of the question, should he do it?

I do know the answer.

Someone who deliberately does something that harms our men and woman in uniform; and they know ahead of time it WILL harm them; needs to be held accountable for the results of their actions.

If this guy was smart, he would 'symbolically' burn the Korans. After the event was over, send the Korans to the paper recycling center to be shredded. Surely paper recycling isn't AGAINST THE LAW.

A second option is to put a pile of Bibles out next to the Korans, and burn the Bibles. One Bible for each of the 3000 who died on 911. Burn them in HONOR of those who died. Then, send the Korans to the shredder to be discarded as useless trash.

Wouldn't the FEDS just poop their drawers?

Would they tell this church they can't burn Bibles? This is how we beat them at their own game.
