U.N. agency says Iran nuke monitoring stymied

VIENNA — In an unusually blunt warning, the U.N. atomic agency said Monday that its monitoring of Iran's nuclear activities is being hampered because Tehran objects to giving some agency inspectors access to its program.

The complaint by the International Atomic Energy Agency was made in a restricted report on Iran made available to The Associated Press. It follows Iran's recent decision to strip two experienced inspectors of the right to monitor Tehran's nuclear activities after the two reported undeclared nuclear experiments.

The Islamic Republic says the reporting by the two was inaccurate, but the IAEA stands by the findings.

Objections by Iran to some experienced inspectors "hampers the inspection process and thereby detracts from the Agency's capability to implement effective and efficient safeguards in Iran," the document said.

Acid thrown in face of second woman Tropical storm forms in Gulf ..The 11-page report devoted a special section to the complaint, reflecting the importance attached to it by IAEA chief Yukiya Amano. Such a section was included in only one previous report, after Iran stripped the right of dozens of inspectors in 2006 and 2007.

It cannot be said often enough, the UN is nothing but a bunch of incompetent morons. Dictators all over the world laugh at the toothless UN.

I think a newly elected conservative house should defund Obamacare then the UN. World would be a lot better off without it.

INSANITY:

Definition: Doing the same thing over & over & over &over again and expecting different results.

Dealing with IRAN’s Nutjob or Saddam Hussein in Iraq gets the same results:

No cooperation & mindless delays caused by their unwillingness to let ‘certain inspectors’ into their facilities.

When will everything in IRAN gets nuked once & for all?

“Doing the same thing over & over & over &over again and expecting different results.”

Put another way: watching the same movie and expecting it to have a much happier ending.

I’m pretty sure we’ve seen this movie before. Fortunately we had a POTUS who had the common sense to say “enough is enough.” Now the POTUS appears unhinged from reality when it comes to dealing with international bullies. Therefore, I fear this movie will end as the greatest disaster epic ever made.

The un? A largely muslim organization. How do you have any expectation that they are going to act against their brethren?

For conversation, lets look at one man. Ghadaffi. Voted king of kings in Africa. When he votes, he carries the votes of 83 nations in Africa.

"Monitoring" and other UN-inspired nonsense. They, along with Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, need to be bombed to the Ston Ages, yesterday.

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh! You mean a religious fanatic who thinks it’s his moral responsibility to bring about the end of the world is not cooperating? Why can’t we all just get along?
