The month of September 2005 was a very busy month for President Bush after Katrina came on land at the Gulf coast and damaged the area. We see President Bush and First Lady Laura visiting New Orleans and other affected areas in Louisiana and Mississippi to comfort the victims of the hurricane and bring aid
The country lost Chief Justice William Renquist who passed away on September 3, 2005
President Bush nominated Judge Roberts to become the next Chief Supreme Court Justice. On September 29th Justice Roberts was sworn in as the 20th? Supreme Court Chief Justice.
President Bush remembered 9/11 heroes at a Medal of Valor ceremony. He also met with several foreign leaders and addressed the Useless Nations
For the quote of the month I have chosen President Bushs Remarks which he gave at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service on September 16, 2005
Doing more in 3 days to help the people of Africa than Zero has done his entire life. The man will carry trash to help if that is what needs to be done. I disagree with a lot of what he did, but I will never question his love for this country or his fellow man.
All of this even though he really does hate black people.(does this really need a sarc tag?)
Great pix! Thanks. Happy Independence Day bump!
Thank you, pattyvita! President and Mrs. Bush clearly live their values.
I wish you and all ‘Dosers’ a happy and safe Independence Day! How blessed we are to live in America! May GOD continue to bless and protect our great country and keep us the land of the free.

double posts happen when someone (ME!)gets impatient....sorry.
Amen! President Bush made have made some mistakes here and there but he’s a human being and he is a good, wholesome man who did the best he could to lead our country through some very tough times.
Yeah, how ironic that ever since Kanye West made that idiotic comment claiming Bush doesn’t care about black people. Well, he now has egg all over his face! :)
Thank you Liberty, Happy 4th of July to you too!
Thanks 4integrity. Happy 4th of July to you too. Don’t worry about the double post, I’ve made the same mistake more than once! :)
I would venture a guess that George W. Bush has done more for black people all over the planet than Kanye has ever THOUGHT about doing.
Thanks for posting these great pictures pattyvita! A blessed and Happy Fourth to all!
Thank you for the great pictures of a great President and his
lovely Laura. They are not afraid of hard work and show
their love by deed as well as word. What a great couple! I
will always miss them in the White House. Patty, you do a great job in posting these pictures for our enjoyment and love for this couple and the hard work they always do!
They are so wonderful! I love seeing them on this trip---thanks for posting!!
Two questions:
Will Kanye West (or any American who relies on national media) ever see one of these fabulous photos?
Has anyone ever seen our current president make a group of “ordinary folk” laugh, just by being close to him?
Wonderful pictures! They still make me proud.
They will have many stars in their crowns when they get to Glory! :)
The following are from Tuesday July 3rd

Awesome pics and videos! Thanks SO much, patty.
How wonderful to see the heart of this decent
man and Laura, with pure love, compassion and
goodness of giving of themselves and their time
to others in need.
What a difference from the despicable monstrosities
we deal with every day now, huh? We were so blessed
.. God bless them dearly, and thank you again!
I love it when I hear presidential historians gloat
that GWB’s legacy will probably be downgraded in the
future. ROFL! No ... earthly ... way!!
What do these idiots know. His legacy will most likely be upgraded
Couldn’t have said any better Ohio. I bet President Bush’s enemies and detractors wouldn’t even dare to do half of the stuff he has done to make other people’s lives better.
Nope, these so-called elites live inside a bubble and rubbing shoulders together at endless cocktail parties. Can’t imagine they’d want to get their hands dirty anyways! :)
You’re so welcome Starwise. Who cares about those presidential historians anyway? They’ve always hated Pres. Bush’s guts. No matter what he does, even if he found a cure for cancer, they still won’t be impressed or change their minds.
They don’t live in the real world and they’re stuck living in those high ivy-league towers. Their perspective on life is at odds with the rest of regular Americans.
