The month of September 2005 was a very busy month for President Bush after Katrina came on land at the Gulf coast and damaged the area. We see President Bush and First Lady Laura visiting New Orleans and other affected areas in Louisiana and Mississippi to comfort the victims of the hurricane and bring aid
The country lost Chief Justice William Renquist who passed away on September 3, 2005
President Bush nominated Judge Roberts to become the next Chief Supreme Court Justice. On September 29th Justice Roberts was sworn in as the 20th? Supreme Court Chief Justice.
President Bush remembered 9/11 heroes at a Medal of Valor ceremony. He also met with several foreign leaders and addressed the Useless Nations
For the quote of the month I have chosen President Bushs Remarks which he gave at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service on September 16, 2005
I LOVED the video in your earlier post.
OUR President is just a swell guy, that's all there is to it!
(And he looks younger than Nolan Ryan who is several years younger than he!)
So true about Obama’s snarky, arrogant, condescending attitude. These days I work in a refinery and am exposed to many black people who have that chip-on-the-shoulder attitude. Nasty, constantly challenging non-blacks in a negative way, decent only to other black people. I’ve discovered that they are the worst bigots among the wide, wide variety of people from around the world whom I’ve worked with in my career.
These are great pictures, and I love the story. Thanks so much for posting.

Pres. Bush applauds Michael Young (Video Clip)
Rangers Young gets presidential treatment from Bush
Former president George W. Bush had an interesting homestand with the Rangers. He almost got hit by a popup when Chicago was in town, and exchanged some funny words with Chicago catcher A.J. Pierzynski.
Sunday it was Bush giving out the praise, as he tipped his cap to Michael Young after the Texas hitter tied the game with a two-run homer in the eighth inning.
"We've talked a lot over the years," Young said. "I've had the chance to meet him several times. He comes to the games a lot. We always have good conversation. I saw him get pretty fired up. I thought that was pretty cool. That was sweet."

I miss our president so much.
I actually remembered to watch the show and I am again so proud of OUR president for his love of the troops!
Amen!!
