A Month in the life of George W. Bush (News and many Photos) September 2005
georgewbush-whitehouse.archives.gov/news ^ | September 5, 2010

Posted on 09/05/2010 5:29:14 PM PDT by Kaslin

The month of September 2005 was a very busy month for President Bush after Katrina came on land at the Gulf coast and damaged the area. We see President Bush and First Lady Laura visiting New Orleans and other affected areas in Louisiana and Mississippi to comfort the victims of the hurricane and bring aid
The country lost Chief Justice William Renquist who passed away on September 3, 2005
President Bush nominated Judge Roberts to become the next Chief Supreme Court Justice. On September 29th Justice Roberts was sworn in as the 20th? Supreme Court Chief Justice.
President Bush remembered 9/11 heroes at a Medal of Valor ceremony. He also met with several foreign leaders and addressed the Useless Nations
For the quote of the month I have chosen President Bush’s Remarks which he gave at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service on September 16, 2005

These are amazing, dmd25! THANK you!

Would you mind posting them on kristinn's thread too??

It's just remarkable that these heroes can do what they can physically with these injuries.

I am SO thankful for OUR President and what he has done and continues to do for our troops!

Awesome pictures! Thank you so much! I DID notice the # and
I know that he won’t let a little scrape on his arm slow him
down!

I was nearly in tears seeing how enthusiastic those wonderful
wounded warriors were to ride...how determined to succeed!

Oh Rats! I forgot to watch it.

Guess I'll have to DVR the late night showing of Special Report.

Thank you both so very much for these FABULOUS pics of our heroes...President Bush and our awesome troops! God bless each and every one of them.

Those troops certainly looked excited to be there with OUR President and their Commander-in-Chief! The video was great, too!

You will enjoy this video of GWB (and one of the soldiers) on GMA this morning. GWB is in great form and takes nothing from George Stephanopoulos! :)

Here are some pictures from Day 2 as well as a video.

LuvyaDubya, who isn't able to access FR at work, just sent me this tweet by Stephen Hayes:

"Two good desert rides on the #W100 -- 12 miles yesterday, 30 today. 20 more tomorrow. GW Bush has one speed: Hammer down."

:D

That's our president!
