Good Morning All. After looking at the lineup, I think I'll just sit on the couch and watch paint dry. The usual suspects are back on the Sunday talk shows. Why do they persist on pushing McLame and Graham Cracker down out throats?

Good morning, AB.
Thanks for the thread, but except for Blair it's poor pickings in today's guest lineup.

Fox and friends has a story that the US has gone from among the lowest unemployment rates in the world to the worst unemployment rate on earth in 10 years!

These shows have become nothing more than the Socialist Play of the Week. They round up the usual suspects for an hour of psychobabble for the masses. What a waste of time.

Jobs? What jobs?
How about facts?
Here is the real deal to ponder during such BS as it will surely appear today.

Really bad today. Todd McCracken looks to be the only person in the bunch who has a clue. I guess this is the start of the “we don't suck as bad as you think on the economy” Democrat election campaign.

Yeah Zandi is a Obamite mouthpiece. Putting him on opposite Tyson is a blatant campaign contribution in kind to the Democrats from See-Bs

Thanks once again for the thread AB! Hope you get a long weekend.I am going to take two and a half days off!! Won't know what to do with myself by Tuesday.
Really a pathetic lineup for labor day.
Meanwhile over on C-spam the spammers are alive and well and all touting the virtues of unions and how the country needs them so bad.
Seems they forget to tell just how the unions are responsible for the near-dear of capitalism in the good ol' U.S. of A.
Funny how unions now in charge of GM are doing their best to half the current wages of their members just so they can sell the company or have anything at all viable to survive.
Union thuggery, acorn,Soros, far left Marxists, they are all the same and may they all rest in peace, RIP.

Good morning, AB.
I checked the listings last night and thought “what a lovely morning to sleep-in.”
As much as I’d like to hear the Tony Blair interview, I have his book, so I’m taking a pass the traitor’s show as always.

U1-U6 is ...
U-1 Persons unemployed 15 weeks or longer, as a percent of the civilian labor force
U-2 Job losers and persons who completed temporary jobs, as a percent of the civilian labor force
U-3 Total unemployed, as a percent of the civilian labor force (official unemployment rate)
U-4 Total unemployed plus discouraged workers, as a percent of the civilian labor force plus discouraged workers
U-5 Total unemployed, plus discouraged workers, plus all other persons marginally attached to the labor force, as a percent of the civilian labor force plus all persons marginally attached to the labor force
U-6 Total unemployed, plus all persons marginally attached to the labor force, plus total employed part time for economic reasons, as a percent of the civilian labor force plus all persons marginally attached to the labor force
NOTE: Persons marginally attached to the labor force are those who currently are neither working nor looking for work but indicate that they want and are available for a job and have looked for work sometime in the past 12 months. Discouraged workers, a subset of the marginally attached, have given a job-market related reason for not currently looking for work. Persons employed part time for economic reasons are those who want and are available for full-time work but have had to settle for a part-time schedule. Updated population controls are introduced annually with the release of January data.

Not only has GM done so poorly but they have had to postpone their IPO until AFTER the election. Further, the feds are admitting they will be selling below market value at first.
O running GM the same way he is running the country.......further into bankruptcy.

Dust kicked by McCain as he scurries to get back to his friends across the aisle after he defeated Hayworth and will probably retain his Senate seat:
