The Las Vegas Review-Journal’s copyright infringement lawsuit partner on Friday sued U.S. Senate candidate Sharron Angle over R-J material posted on her website, allegedly without authorization.

The suit, filed in U.S. District Court in Las Vegas by Righthaven LLC, seeks damages of $150,000 against Angle personally and forfeiture of her website domain name sharronangle.com.

I agree. I think Lowden or Tarkanian would`ve given Reid a tougher fight. This was a very winnable race and now the chances of taking that seat are miniscule at best. With Reid now at the 50% mark, it`s going to take a major gaffe by his campaign for Angle to have a chance in November.

With leaners, that Ras poll is 50-47 Reid. Read further into the story.

the left always do this .
demean, name call, sue, vote more than once, sue, lie, recount in strong Dem areas, sue again, the left will and can never win on the merits so this is their tactics at every election,

in la la land yes it will work like that but in this real world those republicans will not always vote with the party and some are more like Dems anyway.

SO pone can look at the letter at the end of the name and think o great we have a majority but those people had better wake up that some republicans will vote with the Dems as has been proven time and time again.

The RINO’s need to be kicked out once and for all plus the dopes who do not get that need to wake up .

HUH,
how are RINO’s better than Dems when RINO’s vote with the Dems?

look at ME, Graham, McCain etc on issues.

Hell some Dems are more in tune with our views than RINO’s

It’s time for the GOP to get some balls and go after the Dems
instead of shutting up AZ lawsuits one after the other and where are the GOP shouting about this, issuing press conferences , going to the media etc?

NO WHERE because most are cowards and that is why most republicans have had enough of RINO’s and cowards in the GOP.

Hell how many are still saying get rid of obamacare now it has died down? not many, even Cantor is not going after this now and saying well we’ll try and defund it but there are some laws which are good in this.
No repeal the whole damn thing or get voted out

so come immigration and McCain votes with the Dems, Brown votes with the Dems, the ME sisters vote with the Dems the RINO list is endless so instead of looking at how many R’s we have it is high time to look at the people and what they stand for.

Look what idiots voted for Mccain thinking he now will be tough on immigration. yes he will win but he is not a good pick.

They’ve sued everyone, from the Dem Party of NV to Dem Underground to Free Republic.

Exactly - this is not politically motivated, it's financially motivated.

"Democrats can’t win on the merits of their policies or their records, so they have to resort to underhanded tactics like this lawyers, to try to destroy their opponents."

There.

From a University of North Carolina website:

What is considered a good start?

Answer: A boat load of attorneys going over a waterfall...

UNC had to leave 13 football players home [for their game against LSU] because of an NCAA Football investigation.

There is a big difference between those GOPers who will occasionally cross the aisle (McCain) and those who are flat-out liberal dems themselves (Arnold). The former can be neutralized when they are members of a majority in a legislative, but don’t hold any leadship position. The latter is the most dangerous because they blur the line between the two parties.

Having read further, I see the Stephens enterprise out of AR is involved. They really don’t need this kind of publicity, and they don’t need this money, either.

It’s one thing to pursue clear copyright infringement, another to sue even before a cease and desist letter. They may need new, less hungry/greedy attorneys. The deal is probably a legal fee of 1/3 of all judgments won. $75K is nicely divisible by 1/3, isn’t it?

We need some turn-about -fair-play from our lawyers.

Of course the Marxist have an advantage over the minorities.
IRS would audit. All kinds of s*** would happen.

But we must not let that stop us.

They’re attacking Angle like they did Sarah and look what that did for her.
Go Sarah! You got ‘em scared. Just watch your back. They have thugs for friends.

Sorta like Kenya, Iraq...where you have dick-taters.

Typically a RINO stays bought and votes for the Republican caucus ~ that way the Republicans can control the legislative agenda.

How that RINO votes on any particular piece of legislation is a secondary issue.

If you have a Democrat in office instead of that RINO he will vote for the Democrat caucus, they will organize the Congress, and then the only legislation that gets brought up for a vote is a tedious piece of Stalinist BS.

Ordinarily I wouldn't recommend anything at Slate, but this is a pretty good article about existing voting rights laws ~ and the topic of voter intimidation. You check it out at

http://www.slate.com/id/2109096/

Not going to even give you an except, but I'd say that to the degree Slate is RIGHT ON Righthaven has violated SEVERAL voting rights acts, and they could all be tossed into prison.

The idea is Ms. Angle is a candidate and this action intimidates the voters who might have voted for her, or the donors who might have contributed to her campaign.

They are tied. There is no evidence Sue Lowden wouldve beaten Reid easily. Do you think the chicken barter would have not have faced a barrage of ads from Reid. Angle is going to win because the anti-Reid vote is far more motivated. This suit is stupid. These type of papers sue Freerepubluc all the time. Also this is a political speech issue.
