Forgiveness does need to be extended in many cases when there is sincere acknowledgement by the offender of the wrong committed AND WHEN there is sincere contrition by the wrongdoer. However, blanket forgiveness is not an attribute of God and should not, therefore, be an attribute of Christians. Those individuals who committed the attrocity called "Ruby Ridge" should face a tribunal for their acts. Cowardly hiding behind an excuse such as, "I was only following orders" does not exonerate them. There is no excuse for following immoral and unconstitutional orders.

Lon Horiuchi is a sociopath ~ they come in two varieties. One type is out of control. The other type is used as an executioner.

It's always been that way.

They cannot understand, nor ask for, forgiveness.

You're just wasting your breath on this issue with this particular individual.

I agree (or face worse), however her attitude is a healthier attitude. If you harbor hatred and vengeance in your heart it will eat you up. “Vengeance is mine”, saith the Lord”, however that doesn’t stop us from bringing justice!

Forgiveness sometimes is not for the benefit of the offender, sometimes you need to forgive for your own survival. God bless this woman, her whole world was taken from her, the only way she can survive is to turn loose and make a new life.

***********

They will. From a Court with no appeal, which enjoys perfect preservation of evidence and full jurisdiction.
