Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer and her Republican opponent Carly Fiorina will square off Wednesday night in the only debate scheduled so far in a race that polls show is a toss up between the two women.
The hour-long event at St. Mary’s College in Moraga begins at 7 p.m. It will be televised on CBS affiliates up and down the state, including on KTTV in Los Angeles. The debate is being sponsored by the San Francisco Chronicle and KQED public radio and will be streamed live on both sponsors’ web sites. C-Span is also televising the forum.

The moderator has called Carly “Carla” at least twice now. Either that or I need my ears cleaned.

Fiorina was going to make a good point about 20 failed agencies and the solution was to create 1 more... but the moderator cut her off.
OK here is Fiorina’s chance to slam Boxer and Obama for spending $1.5 Trillion over the budget this year alone. Boxer set it up let’s see Fiorina slam it.
Did they let Boxer see the questions in advance? She answered that last question on the Dems being in control for 4 years awfully quickly.
Question to Boxer, “No doubt Obama inherited ... “
