Well, Kalifornia needs to be dragged back into America kicking and screaming I’m afraid. As to Ahhnold - he’s been dealing with insanity since he got into the Governor’s seat, and he’s clearly not had the support, nor the political will (which may be related) to deal with it.

So you prefer Boxer to Fiorina? I have no illusions about Fiorina, btw.

“Nixon was NEVER a senator! In the house, then VP under Ike.”

Wrong.

“Your support for Arnold in wrecking California is noted.”

Huh? The RATS had nothing to do with it? That’s absurd on its face.

“All I was pointing out is that there is little substantive difference between Fiorina and Boxer in matters pertaining to a Senator.”

In matters pertaining to a Senator Fiorina will caucus with MUCH more conservative Republican Senators.

Don’t you want somone agreeing 70% of the time with us, rather than 0%?

That is simply not close to accurate. Even several years before the recall, it was evident Arnold was a Pete Wilson/Bob White trained crook looking to game the system for his globalist sponsors. He never had any intention of instituting fiscal sanity, he was lying. In his first "cut up the credit card" ballot initiative immediately after the recall, Proposition 58 blew off the last vestiges of the Gann Spending Limits, which were more stringent than anything he proposed since.

Then he floated the bonds using New York underwriters, thus blowing off over $250 million in State tax revenues as a payoff for the $300K they gave him to run. Then he shuts down the Bay Bridge construction project to "save money" at a cost of millions because of the delays, steals 30,000 hours of Bechtel's engineering, and hands it to Kiewitt in which his buddy Warren Buffet is heavily invested. Kiewitt is since building an inferior bridge simply because they can't handle the original design, but they sure know how to pad the job with change orders! So it goes...

When it came time to try the "spending controls" a second time, he completely misrepresented Prop 76, sold as "spending limits" when in fact (according to the LAO) they merely stabilized the rate of growth preventing the deep cuts that are now obviously necessary.

Meanwhile, he helps float gobs of bonds, nearly $70 billion for everything from high speed rail to fetal stem cell research. What a guy!

Arnold was a scam artist from the get-go. Face it, you were duped.

So you prefer Boxer to Fiorina? I have no illusions about Fiorina, btw.

Please. All I was saying is that she does not represent an incremental move toward conservatism that will do anything to move things in that direction in the future.

You may be right — I’m no expert on what Fiorina did in HP. And you’re also right that during her stint the company did well, but my point is that after she left, many employees said that her policies overstretched the company.
