Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer and her Republican opponent Carly Fiorina will square off Wednesday night in the only debate scheduled so far in a race that polls show is a toss up between the two women.
The hour-long event at St. Mary’s College in Moraga begins at 7 p.m. It will be televised on CBS affiliates up and down the state, including on KTTV in Los Angeles. The debate is being sponsored by the San Francisco Chronicle and KQED public radio and will be streamed live on both sponsors’ web sites. C-Span is also televising the forum.

Fiorina is pro 2A. That should clear up any discretion Cal voters may have had. Boxer should have never been a Senator. She is a disgrace to that beautiful state. Cheers all.

Yes she is ingratiating and patronizing. She is horribly annoying to me. I despise her.
Ug now she is lying through her teeth. I am not enamored by Fiorina but Boxer’s got to go.
Notice Boxers closing was totally attack and pessimistic, Carly’s was optimistic.....its telling.
Box-o-rocks has opened many doors to great one line zingers that Fiorina has not used to her advantage.
I watched the debate. To me this is a good example of why to not nominate a RINO to take on a socialist big government Democrat. A true Constitutional Conservative would have wiped out Boxer and all the Crat Hacks on the panel and the moderator.
I only saw the last few minutes of this. I thought Carly looked and sounded good. Her closing was great. Babs closed on a note of class warfare and name-calling.

Hey Fiorina did very well and cogent too. Ending remarks showed Carly had a good message and Babs rambled about and not very convincing!
I must say I was very impressed with Fiorina. She absolutely shredded Boxer, AND espoused very pro-life and pro-gun positions while doing so. The line about questioning the “No-Fly List” before questioning a person’s 2nd Amendment rights is something you rarely hear even from Republicans, yet she said it well. I think Boxer is in deep doo-doo.
I have to tell you folks, Fiorina as our CEO would pontificate during a two hour corporate meeting and leave my coworker and I looking at each other......What the hell did she say?

Yes. Pro 2A, that is good. As someone upthread said, it’s hard to watch them fight for the votes in the middle.
If I had any advise for Fiorina, when she attacks Boxer attack her fiscal irresponsibility, her refusal to hold federal agencies accountable, her willingness to let federal agencies make California companies inefficient and expensive to operate, and that she has been in the Senate for what is it, 18 or 24 years now, and she cannot name a single substantial achievement or bill that has helped to make America great.
