Bloomberg and Ground Zero Mosque: Fooled by the Muslim Brotherhood

Michael Bloomberg can do as he damn well pleases with respect to the Ground Zero Victory Commemoration Mosque, and he knows it. And he shows it by his brassy and unbending defiance of the majority of NYC’s voting public. His pretences of ideological purity and obedience to abstract principle — in this case to freedom of religion and more specifically to property rights — are one of the most outrageous insults that the intelligence of the NYC public has ever been subjected to.

How deep is Bloomberg’s dedication to the principle of property rights? This summer he fined retail businesses which left their street doors open to tempt hot passers by to come in and shop. If my memory serves, some nonsense to do with ecology took precedence over business owners’ property rights. I think that’s a clue.

Bloomberg’s prattle about rights is intended largely as a rhetorical device to confuse and inhibit patriots who actually care about American principles. I strongly doubt that he actually understands or cares much about the concept. ... At bottom, he believes that it’s his city and he’ll do as he likes with it.

And while we’re on the subject of things that Bloomberg doesn’t know or care about, what do you think he knows about Islam or jihad? ... the enemy or his doctine?

If Bloomberg cared about property rights he wouldn’t oppose business owners allowing smoking on their property. But he’s a fascist pig like so many contemporary politicians.

The original column about which I wrote in that piece was based was very striking. If our press had ANY integrity whatsoever the column I referred to would have been published on op-ed pages all over America. Go figure!

You're right.

We do indeed have a problem with giving a free pass to anything that can bill itself as a religion. The idea that an EVIL religion could exist, or a package deal in which an EVIL ideology contains a religion is far beyond the mental reach of most of our compatriots -- at every level of education and society.

And frankly, I'm not sure that our founders anticipated the problem in any specific way.

And it's true. Decent normal Americans have a real aversion to violence here at home. And in this case it's inconvenient as the bastards behind that mosque don't understand or respect anything but physical violence.

How to define Islam? The best I can come up with is an Expansionist Theocratic Ideology.

I'm sure there is something more descriptive. First you must name an evil to be able to fight it.

Now, I don't believe every Muslim is evil just like I don't believe every Truther is evil. It's the belief system I don't like.

NY has a serious commie problem. The people running against Bluebug on the Dem ticket have been even worse than him ... if you can even imagine that.

Near as I can tell, NY has a very small minority that even thinks like Americans. Ironically, many of those are immigrants from the old commie countries.

Here's some background that the piss-stream media will never tell you.

Hamas, which is the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood has been formally designated a terrorist organization under our law for many years. According to its charter, Hamas's purpose is to create an Islamic Palestinian state by eliminating Israel through violent jihad.

The Muslim Brotherhood explained in an internal memorandum that their work in the United States was as a 'grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within.' The Brotherhood said its tactic would be 'sabotage.'

The 1991 memorandum elaborates that every city should have an 'axis' and 'perimeter' from which this jihad-by-sabotage strategy is headquartered. That axis will be known as 'the Islamic Center.' Islamic centers are to become 'the 'base' for our rise, the memo says. They are to be the focal point of education, preparation, and the 'supply of our battalions.' Battalions are small cells of fighters. In Muslim Brotherhood ideology it is assumed that, at a certain mature point, when Muslim forces are strong enough, violent jihad will be effective. And Islamists prepare for it. Sheikh Yusuf Qaradawi, the spiritual guide of the Muslim Brotherhood, has proclaimed that 'dawa', the stealth form of jihad, is the method by which Islam will 'conquer America' and 'conquer Europe.'

The Saudis have been underwriting the Brotherhood's dawa efforts for decades.
