That’s a lot of “questioned ballots “. I believe there are about 10,000 “questioned ballots “ in total now!

Questioned by who? There were stories going around that the Murkowski camp or someone on their behalf was making phone calls to absentee voters asking who they voted for. If they answered for Miller, their name went on a list as a ballot to question.

Now there may indeed have been phone calls and deception may have been used to get a response {"calling from such-and-such pollsters to get an idea of what the final vote might be. If you voted absentee, would you share who you voted for?"). Hopefully, they didn't get many to answer.

I think it wouldbe impossible to bring a list of votes one wanted to challenge into the meetings and refer to it constantly. Maybe something more subtle could be done.

I seem to be wrong about the number of questionable votes. Reports mention that many of them are being counted today.
Sounds like about half, 4-5k?, will be left after today.
why some are counted and not others I don’t know. Maybe depends on the particular circumstancees of the ‘question’.
